*The day after the last chapter*

Grace's POV

"Merry Christmas!" I jumped out of bed and was ready to fight. I saw dad standing next to my bed laughing.

"I hate you so much sometimes."

"I love you too" I shook my head and laugh. "Pepper has requested your help with the decor"

"Yes sir" I jumped out of bed and walked out of my room.

"Grace?" I turned around to my dad. "You gonna put a shirt on?" I looked down and remembered i slept in a sports bra last night.

"Good idea" I walked back into my room and threw on a hoodie i stole from Peter.

I ran out to the living room to help Pepper.

Tony's POV (Trying something new)

After Grace went to help Pepper, I made my way down to my lab. I started working on a few things. Suddenly, my phone started ringing and i picked it up.

T-Tony
P-Peter

T-Tony Stark speaking
P-Hi Mr. Stark
T-Kid? When did you get my phone number?
P-Grace gave it to me for emergencies.
T-Is this an emergency?
P-No. I just need your advice on something
T-What is it?
P-What should i wear tonight?
T-Did you actually call me for fashion advice?
P-Yes. Grace isn't answering and she didn't tell me what she was wearing, but i want to match her. Do you know the color of her dress?
T-Red, i think. With Green shoes.
P-Thank you Mr. Stark. I'll see you later.

He hung up and i shook my head.

"That kid is gonna drive me crazy" I went back to work.

"Dad?" Grace walked into the lab, looking like she just got out of the shower. "What are you still doing down here? It's time to start getting ready"

I looked at the clock, hours had already passed.

"Time passes when you are building suits." She laughed.

"So, what did you get Pepper for Christmas?"

"She sent you to ask me didn't she?" She threw her hands up in defense.

"I will neither confirm nor deny that statement."

"You are my child, you know. You are supposed to be loyal to me"

"Technically Pepper is going to be my mom pretty soon so,"

"Hopefully soon. We haven't talked much about wedding details. I think she wants to wait just in case the Avengers ever get back together. I know she would love for Nat, and Steve to be there." She smiled as we walked to her room.

"Well I can't wait. The day you two get married will be the best day of my entire live with you."

"And why is that?"

"I've wanted a mom or a mother figure since mine died and i got that with Pepper. And now, it's official. She is actually going to be my mom."

"So you really are okay with this? I don't want you to think i'm replacing your mom in any way."

"Dad, I am more than okay with this. I know you aren't trying to replace my mom. But she's been gone for awhile now, I'm sure she would be fine with Pepper taking care of me." I hugged her.

"i feel like we haven't had a good talk like this is a long time." She looked up at me, still hugging me.

"We need to have a dad and daughter day. Maybe a day trip to the Malibu. We can go get donuts and eat them in the giant donut. Or we could go to Coney Island. Or Disneyland." I chuckled.
