Grace's POV

*FlashBack*

After Tony Comes Back From Captivity

"Dad?"

"Yeah sweetie?"

"What was it like? Being there? Were you alone?"

"No i wasn't. The doctor that saved my life was there with me."

"Did he escape too?"

"He did. He got to see family again" I smiled at him.

"I'm really glad you're okay. I missed you." He leaned down next to me.

"You did? I didn't think you would. I'm not the best father in the world"

"But you are my dad. I know that me being in your life probably throws off your lifestyle so i expected a period of time of denial."

"You are too smart for your age"

"Well, i have great genetics." He smiled. "Thank you for coming back to me dad. I don't know what would have happened to me if you were gone forever."

"You don't have to worry about that because I am never leaving you again."

"We both know that's not possible. At some point in time, i will have to say goodbye to you."

"And when the time comes, you will be happily married with children of your own to take care of and you won't need me anymore."

"I'll always need you"

"Then I'll aways be here for you. And i will do whatever i can to never leave you again."

"So much for I'll never leave you." I whispered as i looked down at a picture of my dad and i from the day he got back from captivity.

"That was the first time you'd ever called him dad." I looked up to see Rhodey in my doorway. It had been three days since i found out my father, Steve, and Nat were not dead. I was currently at the Cabin with them because Dad hacked into the facility to not let me inside and i have yet to figure out how to un do his hack.

"It was also the same day he told me he'd never leave me."

"He wants you to talk to him."

"And i want a family that doesn't lie to me." I snapped back.

"We did what he asked." I rolled my eyes.

"He also asked you to fight Cap and that lost you your legs." I turned my back to him.

"Low blow"

"Just leave Rhodey. Nothing you will say, will get me to talk to talk to him" I put my black converse on and grabbed my keys, my wallet and my phone. I walked out of my bedroom and to the front door where my dad, Pepper, Steve, and Nat were.

"Where are you going?" Pepper asked and ignored her.

"Where are you going dressed like that?" Dad asked and i ignored him.

"Your parents asked you a question" Steve commented and i continued to look at my phone, texting Peter i was on my way.

"Is that my shirt?" Nat asked and i looked at the four of them.

"Yes." And with that, I walked out the door and went to the garage. "Friday, open the Garage."

"I cannot. Mr. Stark has blocked me from answering your commands until you talk to him"  I rolled my eyes and went back inside.
