[8] Weak

(Y/N) already took care of the remaining men and gathered the gold coins that she could find.

 She was about to travel back with the one that could help her get freedom in the Dark Continent, but Alluka stopped her. 

They had a serious conversation for a while.

"You understand now, right?"

"Yes..." Alluka felt down after hearing (Y/N)'s explanation.

The girl understood the little one's feeling so she tried to comfort her. 

"Don't worry, I'll protect you", She stated and gave a sweet smile.

"But what about brother? Tsubone? and Amane?" Alluka became teary. 

She's trying to be strong, but tears started falling down on her cheeks.

(Y/N) scratched her head and got a lost of words to say to a crying child. 

Her body crouched and touched Alluka's cheek.

She showed an expression of assurance to Alluka as she wipes the tears away and said, "They're pretty strong and if the enemies are stronger, I'll save them, so don't worry! Your friend is super duper strong anyway!" 

She knows that it might not be possible, but she'll try.

Alluka sniffed. "Promise?" she raised her pinky.

This is the first time she'll do a contract by words. 

(Y/N) is also full aware that worded contracts like this is meant to be broken in the future. 

Her heart felt a throb like a needle pierced through. 

Still, she showed a smile and raised her pinky. "Promise"

Alluka felt relieve and showed a smile from ear to ear. 

(Y/N) holds her hands and asked. "Could you call Nanika for me?" 

"Sure!" Hollow eyes then appeared on the little girl's ashen face.

"Hai..." Nanika replied.

After the conversation, she and her friend had an agreement. 

Also she doesn't like it if she left them dying for good so she saved them.

They were back in their room in Met City.

[How weird] (Y/N) thought to herself. She gazes at the unconscious white haired with her hand supporting her chin.

This rarely happens. Rare as the eldest brother of mine cooking a meal as he juggles apples.

In the Dark Continent, (Y/N) is abused by the kin of her flesh and blood.

Solely for the reason of "Being weak"

One could differentiate any of those that reside in the Dark Continent by two titles.

She was successful in executing the plan.

Her days were spent with ease.

But all of that went straight down the drain at the very moment she was branded as a traitor.
