[16] Not boring anymore

Killua's POV

The girl kept giving weird gifts and joining us.

Alluka and I already received a lizard, a leaf with drawings on it, and other useless things.

I don't really like hanging out with suspicious people.

It's also creepy since the weirdo's sharp gaze is always at me.

There are times that she plays with Alluka while looking at me.

Sometimes she just guards us while hiding on top of a tree.

Even when we're inside the house, I feel her presence.

I even wonder if she also have powers that can scoop her eyes out and plant it on our room.

My back feels like it's getting pierced, no, I feel like my back already has a hole.

Not to mention that she's weird.

She always runs fast beside me just to get a grip of my arm. 

[Weirdo]

This time, she gave us both ugly dolls.

Alluka's doll has a round shape, similar to a ball.

The opening is loosely sewn. [She must have a hard time sewing when the cotton is inside.]

The buttons are black which is placed on the center part of the ball which looks like the eyes.

The black hair is just another cloth sewn at the top.

She just then sewed thread to make the smile.

Mine is like a peanut. The head is larger than the body.

The eyes are blue buttons.

Other parts look decent, but the thread hairs looks like I have a bowl cut.

Thankfully, these days she doesn't look hostile compared to before, just like when we saved her that time.

"Oi"

"Hm?" The butler, who's playing patty cake with Alluka, turns her head to me.

"Why are you giving us these...things?" I said lifting the peanut doll, indicating that is what I'm talking about.

"I dunno"

"Are you a dumbass?"

"Brother!"

"Alright, alright haha I won't use bad words!" I dodge and shielded Alluka's small hits with my hand.

The girl ponders for a while, "Well, in a way...I want you to like me."

"What good would that bring you?"

"Finding Happiness, I think"

"Ah yeah, because you want me to be your friend like you said before."

[Mother said about forcing people what I want is a no-no, so...] "No, not that. It's because I like you, of course" She said since that is also true, not hating is liking. 

"Eh...?" That is all I could utter as an immediate response.

The butler-in-training on the other hand, hearing no other questions for follow-up, continues to play with Alluka.

They are currently playing tag and (Y/N) chases Alluka in a much slower pace at the distance.

[Doesn't she get embarrassed by all her actions?]

"You really are an idiot AHAHAHA" I laugh way too hard for taking what the weirdo said seriously for a moment.

I don't even know if I'm being infected with her stupidity.

At the very least, the house hasn't become that boring to me.
