[10] Peace

After Alluka's nagging, she became sleepy. 

She yawns and scratches her eyes. 

She became tired because Alluka played with (Y/N) outside in the past day and earlier today when Killua and the guards were still unconscious.

"Killua-chama" Tsubone called out after seeing Killua put Alluka to sleep. "Do you remember our agreement?"

"Yeah, yeah." Killua scratches his head. " It's my fault I was separated from Alluka."

The elder brother wanted to travel more with Alluka in places she hasn't explored before, but it seems that they would have to put away the plan for now.

(Y/N) went out for the time-being.

The stroll led her to a nearby park.

It's quiet and peaceful.

The path is illuminated with the light posts.

Sounds of water are heard.

Along with the view of lovely trees and flowers, it provided a soothing feeling to (Y/N).

Her place was also surrounded by trees, flowers, herbs, and all kinds of grass, but this place just hits differently.

Ever since a child, she wanted quiet and peaceful surroundings. Noises that sting her ears makes her want to escape.

[Is this the feeling of being ordinary?] Now that she is adjusting to this place after escaping from the Dark Continent, her eyes sparkled as she thought of her great accomplishment.

She snickered as her long legs that is wet, strides around the fountain while she's scooping water with her hands and throwing them to the air.

Stares of those who are passing through show silent judgements.

"Mommy, I wanna circle around the fountain too and make splashes!" A girl pointed at (Y/N) who is putting the practice of being ordinary in total concentration.

The mother used her hands to cover the little girl's eyes. "That girl is a bad influence. She's a weirdo that steals the coins in wishing fountains."

Hearing that, (Y/N) feels irritated to be judged like a thief.

"I won't do something like that!" she replied loudly.

Stares of those who are passing through show silent judgements once again.

Mother scolded the girl a lot in the past, saying (Y/N) is such a spoiled child.

Although she always replied that she can do whatever that she wants and take whatever she wants since she can defeat everyone, (Y/N) still followed whatever Mother told her.

"Since the lady said it's bad, maybe they don't play water here like in our home. Mother would surely nag at me like that too if she saw me here."

She then went out of the waters of the fountain and sat on the edge, spreading out her legs to dry them. Her bottom attire didn't reach the level of the waters so they are not drenched much compared to the upper attire since she kept playing with the water.
