Emison: camping trip

Chapter 1.

"Yes mom" I rolled my eyes. She constantly kept asking me if I had everything I needed for this camping trip. We were all going away for Hanna's birthday plus Hannas's girlfriend Cece and apparently she was bringing her sister, Emma I think it was?

"Thanks for dropping me off, see you Monday" I closed the car door and walked up to Hanna's front door, with my backpack and pillow. I knocked on the door twice before it opened revealing Ms.Marin.

"Alison" she smiled before bringing me into a hug.

"Ms.Marin, how are you?" I asked. I've always loved Ms.Marin, she was like a second mom to me.

"Now Alison, I've told you many times before it's Ashley, Ms.Marin makes me feel old" she joked, "I'm good how are you?"

"I'm good, excited for the trip" I smiled. It's true, I couldn't wait to be away with my friends, no worries, no parents, and most importantly no drama.

"That's good hun." She smiled. "The rest of the girls are up in Hanna's room" she moved out the way so I could go in.

"Thanks Ms.Ma- Ashley" I smiled before walking upstairs towards Hanna's room. I opened the door and was met with Aria, Spencer, and Hanna.

"Ali, hey!" Hanna was the first to speak up which was followed by a "hi" and "hey" from Spencer and Aria.

"Hey girls! Excited for the trip" I asked. I put my things down next to the door and sat on the hanging chair Hanna had on the right side of her room.

"Yes!" Hanna smiled.

"Hanna's just excited to get laid" Aria laughed making us all giggle.

"No..well maybe" Hanna blushed making us laugh even more.

We continued talking—mainly about the activities we'd be doing on the camping trip and the three hour ride to the place—before Hanna got a text message.

"It's Cece, she says they're outside" Hanna announced before standing up and grabbing her small duffel bag and pillow.

Aria, Spencer, and I followed and said our goodbye's to Ms.Marin. When we walked outside, there was an black Escalade waiting.

A blonde stepped out of the car before running around and towards us.

"Hey babe" Hanna smiled before kissing the girl who I'm guessing was her girlfriend, unless she greeted all her friends with a kiss on the lips.

"This is Cece" Hanna motioned to the girl standing next to her. "Ce, this is Alison, Aria, and Spencer" she motioned to the three of us. We each exchanged small hello's before a brunette came over to where we were standing.

"This is Emily, my sister" I took in Emily's appearance, she was brunette with long black hair that fell just above her hip, her skin was a caramel tan color and her eyes were a deep shade of brown, yet so full of light at the same time. She was wearing pink tank top and high waisted jeans, paired with white vans. I have to admit, she's very attractive.

"Is that okay with everyone?" Cece asked us all. I had been so intrigued by Emily, I missed the conversation, so instead I just nodded. "Great! Let's go!" She smiled before making her way to the Escalade.

We put our things in the back before figuring out the seating arrangements.

"Emily's driving, so someone needs to sit passenger, Cece and I will sit in the back seats and then whoever's left will sit in the middle two" Hanna explained, pointing to each seat as she did so. They car was set up so that there were two seats in the front, two in the middle, and a row that could fit three in the back.

"I call middle" Aria exclaimed before sitting behind the passenger seat on one of the middle chairs.

"Me too" Spencer called before running to the other side, behind the drivers seat.

"Guess you're stuck with me then blondie" Emily smirked. Blondie? Who the hell does she think she is? I mean I guess I am blonde but I still have a name! Then again I never told her my name so I couldn't really blame her. Without another word I sat in the passengers seat.

Everyone else got in too before we took off to our three hour drive, yay!

Five minutes in I was already getting bored.

"It's Alison" I mumbled, I figured I could start a conversation someway, what better way then telling her my name.

"What?" She looked over to me for a split second setting her eyes back on the rode.

"My name, earlier you called me blondie but my names Alison" I explained making her laugh.

"Yeah, sorry about that. I wasn't sure what to call you and blondie seemed appropriate since, you know" she pointed at my hair.

"I guess" I mumbled back, not really sure what to answer.

"So blon- I mean Alison, you got any good tunes?" What the hell is this girl talking about?

"Do I have any good what?" Tunes? Like looney tunes?

"Tunes, you know music?" She shook her head, laughing at my cluelessness. Oh, tunes! It's not like I hadn't heard the word before, it was just one of those words I kinda forgot you know?

"I mean I guess" I shrugged, what would she consider good tunes? Maybe some rap or country?

"Well let's hear them" she pushed a couple buttons on the screen till it led her to the words, 'pair device'. I figured this is where I connected my phone. I turned on the bluetooth and connected my phone.

I wasn't really sure what to play so I put a playlist—that consisted of some of my favorites— on shuffle.

The first song was one I had sung in the shower hundreds of times, it was one of those songs that I had learned to remember without even trying, that's how catchy it was.

"Maroon five eh" she smiled. They were one of my favorite bands and Sugar was one of my favorite songs.

When I'm without you, I'm somethin' weak..🎶

I sang the first few lines softly before Emily, Aria, Spencer, Hanna, and Cece joined in. After the song was over, a few more continued playing that we all sung to before we stopped at a McDonald's to grab some quick breakfast.
