Emison: camping trip

Chapter 3.

"How long will you be staying?" A small elderly woman asked. We had arrived to location but we had to pay to get in.

"A week" Emily smiled then handed the woman $35 for the amount of time we'd be staying.

"Enjoy you're stay ladies, here's the key to the cabin and for the canoes" she handed Emily four keys.

"Thank you" we drove to cabin five. That cabin wasn't small but it wasn't huge, it was just the right size for the three air mattresses we had to blow up.

"Alright, what do we want to do first?" Emily clapped, we had gotten off the car and were now standing around.

"I want to canoe" Aria piped up.

"We should set up base, we don't want to have to set up base later" Spencer said and we all agreed.

"Okay, Spencer, Cece, and I will blow up the air mattresses while Ali, Emily, and Aria will go look for wood for the fire" Hanna instructed. We all set off to our designated tasks. It kind of surprised me to see Hanna take charge like she did.

After thirty minutes of looking for perfect fire wood, I headed back to camp where they had finished setting up two mattresses and were halfway done with the last one.

Shortly after I arrived, Emily and Aria walked up and placed their wood on top of mine.

"Alright, since we're done with that. What's our first activity of the day?" Cece asked, her hands on her hips as she scanned all of our faces.

"Canoeing!!" Aria piped up again. We all agreed and took turns using the restroom a couple meters away from camp.

At the camp there were multiple cabins, each a good distance apart but not where you couldn't see the other. There were two bigger cabins which were the restrooms, one for men and the other for women. Towards the lake was another cabin but this one had screen all around it and hoses hanging from the ceiling. That was the area for cutting and washing fish. A couple feet away from the pier was an area designated to the canoes and paddles.

We were the only ones here which was surprising since, this was such a beautiful place. After we all changed, we make our way to the pier. I was wearing a yellow two piece and the girls had matching ones except in different colors. Aria's was a baby pink, Spencer's was a deep purple, and Hanna's was a light blue. Cece and Emily wore one pieces, Emily's was black and complimented her tan skin amazingly while Cece wore a dark blue that looked equally amazing.

"Let's take a picture, so we can remember this moment" Hanna cheered. We all nodded before walking further onto the pier. Hanna set up the camera with a ten second timer than did a little run to where we were standing. We all smiled for the first picture, made silly faces for the second one, and stuck up the middle finger on the last one. After taking the pictures, Hanna showed us all and they couldn't have been more perfect.

We each put on life vests before heading to the area where the canoes were.

"So, there are six of us and three canoes. It'd be best if we split into pairs." Spencer explained. "Aria and I  will be partners"She lifted the canoe with the number one before sliding it into the water and grabbing their oars.

"Guess that leaves me and you, pretty sure those two want to be partners" I laughed. Emily nodded before going over to number two.

We picked it up and smoothly set it in the water.

"Let's go get the oars" Emily called me over. We looked at the oars and noticed there were only two left.

"Hey- what the fuck!" Emily exclaimed. I turned around and spotted Hanna and Cece pushing the canoe with the number two on it into the water. "That's ours!" She shouted but the two just laughed. "Fucking Ce" she mumbled making me laugh.
