Emison: camping trip

Chapter 4.

"We've done at least four pages of this word search" I rolled my eyes, "let's go swimming or something" I groaned.

"One more, one more! I want to win!" Hanna exclaimed. The only reason we kept playing is because Hanna wanted to win at least one round. Each time we played, she got last place.

"No, no more" I groaned.

"I quit" Cece sighed, Emily and Aria agreeing with her.

"I could go for another" Spencer shrugged

"Hell no. You're a teen genius Spence, there's no way I'd beat you" Hanna cried making us all laugh.

"Let's go swimming" I urged. I was already wet (not like that) and the water was beautiful.

"Race ya!" Emily yelled, standing up and running to the edge of the pier before diving off. I soon followed suit with the rest of the girls behind me.

I jumped into the water, and was immediately hit with the cool fresh feeling.

"Wohoo!" Hanna cheered before jumping in.

I floated around on my back, just looking up at the sky before someone splashed water on me.

"The fuck!" I yelled and heard giggles on my left. I turned my head and spotted Emily. "You're gonna pay!" I exclaimed before swimming as fast as I could towards her.

I was a pretty good swimmer, but Emily was better, way better. She swam faster, it was like she was gliding through the water, so gracefully.

I stopped swimming, my arms started aching. Before I knew it, I was being lifted up into the air.

"Put me down!" I laughed. Emily had gone underwater and lifted me on her shoulders.

"Let's play chicken fight!" She yelled at the other girls. They all nodded and Hanna got on Cece's back while Aria got on Spencer's.

"You're going down little one" Hanna smiled evilly at Aria. I saw Aria gulp before laughing nervously.

"Come at me" I half laughed, half yelled at Aria and Hanna.

Cece walked forward with Hanna on her shoulders. While she came towards me I noticed Aria and Spencer sneaking up behind them.

"Attack" Aria shouted before placing her hands on Hanna's shoulders and pushing her forward.

Cece stumbled forward and Hanna fell off of her shoulders.

"Hey!" Hanna exclaimed looking up at Aria who was doing a little victory dance.

"Looks like it's just me and you" I smirked at Aria.

"You better win Ali!" Emily yelled. I nodded my head.

"Oh I will" Emily walked towards Spencer.

"You're going down Fields!" Spencer smirked before pushing Emily a bit. Emily regained her balance before her and Spencer wrestled it out.

I put my hands on Aria's shoulders before her and Spencer went tumbling back, Emily had shoved Spencer making her lose her balance.

Spencer was able to gain her balance back before her and Aria both fell.

Again, Spencer walked towards us and Aria and I pushed each other. I was able to push Aria back hard enough to tip her off.

"Wohoo!" I laughed. I did a victory dance which consisted of a little shimmy of the upper half of my body.

"We are the champions!" I threw my fists in the air.

Emily slowly lowered in the water so I could hop off her shoulders. She resurfaced with a big grin on her face.

I remembered I had packed one of those inflatable beach balls in my backpack so I swam to shore before hopping out and making my way towards the car.

"Where are you going?" Hanna shouted from her spot in the lake.

"The car, I'll be back!" I shouted back.

I opened the trunk and opened the first pocket of my backpack and rummaged through till I found the flat ball. I also grabbed the sunscreen, I wanted a tan, not to get burnt.

I rubbed some on but still took the bottle back with me, incase any of the other girls wanted some too.

"Hey!" I called out, making all the girls turn their heads towards me. "Want some sunscreen?" I waved the little bottle in my hand.

Emily began swimming towards me, she of course arrived first since she was closer and a better swimmer.

"Want some?" I handed her the bottle. She nodded before putting her hands on the pier and lifting up. It was like the scenes from the movies where the joy boy lifts up and you can see the water dripping from his body, that's exactly what Emily looked like. Her hair was slicked back and her body was glistening in the sun.

"Ali?" She waved her hand in front of my face, knocking me out of whatever trance I was in. Ali. This had been the second time she'd called me that, but hey, I'm not complaining.

"Hmm what?" I blushed.

"I asked if you could put some on my back?" She laughed a little. I blushed even more, before nodding, not trusting my own voice.

I grabbed the bottle and squeezed a little on my hands before applying it on the exposed skin. Her skin was smooth, it was so nice to touch but I had to make sure I didn't leave my fingers there for to long, or else that's be a little weird.

"There. All done" I smiled before handing the bottle to Spencer who had just walked up to where we were standing.

"Thanks" she mumbled. I nodded again before grabbing the deflated plastic I had gone for.

I put the plastic part up to my lips and blew, the ball slowly formed.

I threw it to Emily, who had already gotten back in the water.

"Let's play volleyball!" I exclaimed before jumping back into the water.

Okay, two chapters one update :)! Ignore any grammar mistakes, I hate proof reading lol.

Next chapter may be a continuation of this one, where it's like nighttime and there maybe having a campfire or it'll be the next day and I'll briefly describe the events of the day before. Let me know what y'all prefer!
