I walked back into my apartment with the arms full of groceries. Little K was with Kevin today since I needed a break and I still wasn't talking to Kendall. It was been three months since the trial. I haven't spoken a word. I know that Anna was announced guilty and is now in a woman's prison, but that still does not excuse what I saw.

I set the bags down on the counter and started to put the food away. I got halfway through it when someone knocked on my door. I put what was in my hand away and went to answer the door.

"Kendall?" I asked when I opened the door. Kendall stood there, his eyes were red and puffy and he did not look well. "What are you doing here?"

"I.. I-I n-needed t-to s-see y-you." Kendall said. I sighed. I knew why he was here.

"Kendall, I told you to-" I started to say, but I was cut off.

"You." Kendall said.

"What?" I asked.

"I choose you." Kendall said. I looked at him.

"I don't believe you."
