Your Name - Arisu X Male! Reader

A/N: So this is kind of loosely based off the anime movie Your Name so yeah. Enjoy. Sorry I suck at these author's notes.

Summary: Arisu and Y/N have met many times. Problem is they can't remember ever meeting

*Y/N's POV*

"What's your name?" "Ryohei Arisu. What about you?" "Y/N L/N." "That's a cute name. I like it." "I like your name too."

Arisu smiled as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Thanks. I'm really sorry for bumping into you. I really should be more careful."

"No, no, no. Please don't be sorry. It was totally my fault." Arisu stepped closer to me and took my head in his. "No. I can't let you blame my accidents on yourself.

Let me take you out for dinner to make it up to you." I was a bit stunned. I had only just met this guy and he was already offering to take me out to dinner.

"Okay, I guess. Can I give you my number?" "Of course!" Once we exchanged numbers we parted ways. 

*Time skip*

I laid down in my bed and decided to just flip through my phone. While playing a game I suddenly saw a text from someone who's name I didn't recognize.

Arisu: Who is this?

They didn't know who I was either.

Y/N: I guess I could ask you the same thing. How did you get a hold of my number

Arisu: I don't know. I don't know anyone by the name Y/N and I don't even remember us ever meeting.

Y/N: Your name is in my phone. It says 'Arisu'

Arisu: Like I said, mine says 'Y/N'

Y/N: Which is my name

Arisu: Do you want to meet up and try to figure this out?

Y/N: I don't even know what you look like! For all I know you could be a 50 year old man!

Arisu: I'm only 18 

Arisu: 

I gazed at the photo in awe. He looked so cute.

Arisu: Happy? My friend took that at a party.

Y/N: I'm still not sure. Send at least one more

Arisu: I don't have another.

Y/N: Why? You're hot. You should take more.

Arisu: Weird thing to say to a guy you just met, but thanks

Y/N: Where do you want to meet up

Arisu: There's a café really close to where I'm at right now.

Arisu sent me the address.

Arisu: I'll be waiting there. Just look for me and two other guys.

Y/N: Okay

*Time skip*

"Can I get you anything to drink sir?" I glanced over at the waitress and flashed her a small smile. "No, I'm okay for now. Thank you though."

I turned back to the group of boys and sighed. "So you're telling me that Arisu and I talked via text. And that's why I'm here?"

The tallest boy, Karube nodded," Yes. But it seems that as soon as you are out of each others sight you both forget about ever meeting."

Arisu turned to Karube, "So what does that mean we have to do?" "I think the two of you should stay together for now until we can figure out how to break this weird thing."

"But Karube, where the hell is Y/N going to stay?" "You can stay with him at his place." "I don't mind sleeping on the floor, Arisu." Arisu blushed and hid behind his other friend, Chota.

Chota groaned, "Now isn't the time to get shy Arisu." "Lay off! You try having a stranger who you just met sleep in the same room as you! And to top it all off he's good looking!" I felt my own face become hot.

"You're not so bad looking yourself." I giggled. Karube spoke again, "Then it's settled. Arisu will move in with Y/N till we can figure out how and why you two are connected and yet forget ever meeting the moment you guys are out of the same room." I turned to Arisu and smiled. "Welcome to my life Arisu."

*Another time skip, Arisu's POV*

I couldn't believe this. An attractive boy who I myself had only just met, kind of, was letting me live with him. I watched silently as he walking all around the house asked me if I needed anything every now and again.

I felt my heart race every time I heard his voice. "Hey Arisu." "Yeah?" "Why do you think we're connected in such a weird way?" "Think about it. You're a super smart gamer and I'm just a fucking waiter at a dead end restaurant.

Don't you find it a bit odd? The fact that the universe keeps having us meet even though we never remember our last meeting. Who knows how long this has been going on for. A day. A month. A couple years. We don't know."

"Some people would say something like love is timeless or whatever." "And some would say it only lasts a year or two at most."

I gently took Y/N's hand in mine and kissed it. "But every time we've met. we've fallen for each other by the sounds of it." Y/N sighed, "Maybe it's a sign." "Will you follow the sign, Y/N?"

He pushed his forehead against mine and smiled, "Yeah, why the hell not? Because who knows, maybe it'll take me somewhere cool." "Will I be there with you?" Y/N placed his lips on mine. "That's up to you handsome."
