The Librarian ~ Satan

(heyyy so instead of MC it's Alex bc dats me and your not MC in this your a demon librarian)

Today was just like any other, quiet, calm, and honestly boring at times. To be fair you worked at a library and though you loved your job the demons can be quite annoying. you were reading Harry Potter, it was a human realm book but you can out of things to read. Although you knew all kinds of things about witchcraft having you've met many witches, the books still strung at you heart stings.

You hear the entrance bell ring.

you look up to see the Okato yourself. Leviathan and someone who seems to be with him.
"Hello Leviathan we just got some more manga if you would like to read some before they're taken" I say smiling gently
"o-oh yes please y/n" Leviathan says hiding his face in the Manga he's reading. The man with him begins to look around

I leave to go to the back. I grab the large box of Manga. I start to lose my balance but soon gain it back and I start walking towards Leviathan.

as I'm walking I trip on my shoe lace starting to fall. But soon someone catches me and I regain balence
"thank you sorry about that" I say apologetically
"no worry's" I see the man who came in with Leviathan say

I nod and walk to Leviathan careful not to trip again

I set the box down and Leviathan starts to look through it.

"Leviathan may I ask you a question" I say
"u-uh sure since your not a normie I guess Ill answer" he says a slight blush
"who is that" I ask pointing to the man
"oh that's my brother Satan, he didn't realize we had a library so close and asked to come with me" he says still looking through the box

I smile and walk over to Satan

he is deep in thought I can tell

I tap his shoulder and a jumps a little coming out of his thought

"s-sorry I didn't mean to scare you I just wanted to see if you needed any help" I say
"oh it's quiet alright I was just looking for something that I'm my sure if you'll have, do you happen to have human literature?" Satan asks
"well if any demons ask no, but sice you know Leviathan... come with me" I say smiling and turing around

I walk towards the back room as he follows. I open the door to the break room.

"oh Hello" Satan says
"I'm so sorry she's usually asleep right now" I say seeing the black cat I keep here during the day at the man's feet
"it's quite fine" he says petting the cat
"h-her name is Ezmalreda" I say
he smiles slightly...

I smile, why is he cute?

i pick up the cat and and hold her close kissing her forehead as I nod towards the room as a silent way of saying come in.

he walks in and I follow closing the door and setting the cat down.
"over here" I say walking to a bookshelf with all literature from the human and celestial realms.

he starts to look at it

"do you have any genres that you like?" I ask
"well I usually read magical history books but I'm hoping to go with something fictional" he says
"oh well of you'd like there's a series I'm reading right now, it's Called Harry Potter it's quiet good" I say

he looks up interested

I pull the first book off the self and hand it to him.
he reads the back

"would you like to check it out?" I ask
he nods smiling holding his hand over his chest
"ok and correct me if I'm wrong but I'm assuming nyour one of Leviathans brothers, well even if you aren't you still welcome to, but if it's ever to loud your always welcome to come here and read with Ezmalreda if you would like" I say
"oh thank you" he says a blush covering this face

Leviathan opens the door
"Come on Satan Im ready to go.... s-sorry was I interrupting something" Leviathan asks
I blush
"no you weren't interrupting anything Levi, y/n was just telling me about some human literature" Satan says
"oh yeah I forgot Alex gave you all his books when he came back from the human world" Leviathan says as I nod smiling

Satan POV~

this Demon is quite adorable, and seem to be quite nice. No wonder Levi has grown attached to them.

"well are you ready Satan?" Levi asks
"yes" I say as we all leave the room y/n making sure Ezmalreda doesn't escape again

y/n checks us out and waves us goodbye

once we are out of the Library Levi looks to me
"spit it out Levi your clearly wanting to ask something" I say rolling my eyes
"you like them don't you" he says
"well yes they seem like a nice person and I could see being good frie-"
"no no no I mean ~LIKE~ them" Levi says interrupting me
"of course not Leviathan I've just met them" I say
"then why are you blushing so hard, not to mention that huge normie smile you have when talking to them" He says

I raise my eye brow but then start to think about it and... maybe I do like them

y/n pov~

Satan has been coming in two to three times a week to read he's even been asking me to read with him and honestly it's quite nice and relaxing.

though I know I like him I'm not sure g he feels the same way about me, and I don't want to ruin what we have

I see the Blonde demon walk in

"hello Satan" I say with a huge smile on my face
"hello y/n how have you been" he says
"I've been ok, trying to make sure I keep busy" I say
"what about you" I ask
"alright me and Lucifer have gotten ourselves into another fight and I was hoping to read with you again to calm down" he says
"oh I'm sorry Satan I'm afraid I'm very busy as you can see" I motion my hands towards the empty library

he chuckles slightly as I get up and we walk to the break room.

he blushes as he looks as he wants to say something but isn't sure how to
"go on you know I won't judge what you say Satan" I say
"I know I just feel slightly awkward asking but, I was wondering if we could cuddle and I read to you" Satan says now having a large blush on his face hiding himself behind his hand.

I giggle nodding as we both sit down and I lay my head on his lap. he starts to read the book to me as I listen taking in his sent.

after a hour or two of Cuddling and Satan reading to me he stops mid sentence.

"what's wrong" I ask rising my eye brow
"do you remember what's happening in this book" he asks
I nod confused on what he's getting at

"and how the two friends had an amazing friendship but one of them falls for the other and isn't sure how to tell the other" he asks

I nod still confused

"but eventually tells their friend that he loves them and in the next line it says, and they kissed" he says

I tilt my head still confused

he waits looking at me as if I'm supposed to say something

what could he be getting at...

them it hits me

he likes me back?

I sit up looking into his eyes.

could this really be happening, could he really like me

he sighs

I must have taken to long and now he thinks I don't feel the same but I do and oh no how am I supposed to say this!? I've never done this before this is all new to me.

then without thinking.... I kiss him

he hesitantly kisses back

we both pull away looking into each other's eyes

"i-i-i love you"

"I love you too"
