Heartless || Seongjoong [ Seonghwa × Hongjoong ]

Chapter 23

Hongjoong P.O.V

I'm eating my food stressfully. He makes me wonder about a lot of things. Who is he? What does he want for him? Is he his other boyfriend? 

I'm too in my thoughts and suddenly the bell of my house rings. I wonder who? I walk to the door and open it.

"Hi, Joongie." It's Seonghwa. I smile at him. A fake smile. He also smiles at me like he didn't hide anything from me. "I bring my nephew Seojun. You remember him right?" he said while showing his nephew beside him. Where did I see these clothes? Oh, it's him. "Get in," I say as they get in.

"Long time no see bro," Seojun said and I fakely smiled at him. "Aren't you happy to meet me?" he continued. "He doesn't smile a lot," Seonghwa said in piss. What happened here? "We've bought some food on the way here, let's enjoy." he continued.

After a while of chatting and eating. I still put on my poker face on. I notice Seonghwa have been quite pissed because I didn't talk a lot. What I can do? They talk too much I can't even cut them off. They look so happy to meet each other. I'm alone here.

Seonghwa P.O.V

I want to spend my time with Hongjoong too. But he's too quiet. I want to hug him. I want to hold him. I want to talk with him. He seems like he is having a problem. He can't hide it from me. I know him. Why doesn't like to talk about his problem? He makes me feel upset sometimes because of this.

After a while, I look at him with a pout. He looks at me with a what's-wrong face. I point at him. He looks like a puzzle. He's processing again. Suddenly my cousin stood up. "Thank you for the meal but I need to go," he said and we stood to greet him. "I'll be at home if you need anything," Hongjoong said to me. "I want to sit with you," I said with a pout making him stare at me and nod. He did it without a smile.

As minutes pass by. My cousin already arrives at his house and I'm here with him. Looking at his poker face. Usually, he will change his facial expression when we're alone. But he doesn't.

"Joongie." I call him and he looks up from the work that he is doing. "Are you okay?" I ask him and he nods. That's not the answer that I wanted. "Again I'm asking you. Are you okay?" I ask again making him look at me and smile. "I'm okay baby don't worry," he said. At least he smiled. I want to see him smile. I pull his arm to the bed that I'm sitting on. He followed my lead and sat on my lap as what I wanted him to do. "You know if you have a problem, you can talk to me right?" I said and he nodded at me.
