The sun planted it's morning light on my tired face. Why did it wish to wake me up? I had no plans to get up yet. I sat up and reached for my nightst- oh... right. I'm on the couch. Hehe, guess I must've passed out down here.  Well, I guess it's been awhile since I last slept on the couch. It was actually really comfortable! I kinda wish I didn't need to get up today. But, as much as I hoped to stay here today, I had too much to do and so little time to do it. Finding Scrooge had to be my top priority today, and I won't stop until I find him. Now, how to begin: I needed to find Louie again, as he said he was gonna help me out. Maybe I could search the Money Bin again? That could be an idea! But there could be a chance he was at the mansion too. I wasn't sure if I actually wanted to go back there yet, but I did tell Dewey I would be there again soon. Maybe not today, though. The concept of returning to the mansion again still makes me feel a bit uneasy... like there was something calling me there, but at the same time, telling me to avoid it at all costs.

I really didn't wanna avoid the Ducks forever, and doing so would hurt the boys. I wonder if I could ask my friend if he knows where to find Scrooge. Well, I do hope I can talk to him again soon. The last time I saw him was not too long after Della disappeared. I had been working with Scrooge for maybe a week at that point, and my mental state had collapsed by that point. He had come by, told me he had to go home to his family, and I never saw him again. Wherever he is, I hope he's alright. I got up off the couch and stretched. My muscles had been rather tight while sleeping, otherwise they wouldn't have popped so much. Though, the release of tension felt nice, as a first thing to do today. Today seemed kinda hopeful! Maybe something interesting could happen. I could meet up with one of the kids again, or maybe go for a walk, or run down the the store to pick up a few things. I also need to eat something. My stomach doesn't like when I neglect it for too long through the day, heh. But what should I eat? I walked into the kitchen, and began rummaging through my fridge first.

Ha! I have an idea! I was too lazy to cook, so maybe I could make toast? That could work! I walked over to my pantry, looked around and saw my loaf of bread sitting in a safe spot. Good, it's not moldy. I grabbed two slices and began to make my way to the toaster. I set the dial on 2, placed the bread in their respective slots, and walked back to the fridge to get butter. I opened the door, looked around for maybe 20 seconds, and saw it sitting there right in the door. Geez, I really have to open up my eyes and actually look around more. I tend to look around and not actually try to find things. Wow, I was kinda like Dells in that demeanor. I grabbed the box and pulled out a cube. Huh, guess it's already softened enough for usage! Good, saves me the trouble of waiting! I walked over towards the toaster and set down the butter. Next, I reached for the silver ware drawing, and grabbed a butter knife, and set it on the counter. I then opened up the cupboard above me and grabbed a plate.

The toaster made it's very familiar and happy *Ding* sound and the toast pooped up. I took a second to sniff the air in front of me. Ahhhhh, nothing like fresh cooked toast in the late morning! I waited a few seconds before grabbing the fresh bread out of the toaster, and placed them right next to each other on the plate. Still warm, so putting the butter on them should be easy. I set down the plate near the back of the counter so I don't knock it over. Hehe, avoiding accidentally breaking another  plate is one of the hardest things ever to me. Anyways, I grabbed the block of butter, and gently unwrapped it. As soon as that was done, I made sure to put the butter in a bowl. Once finished, I grabbed the knife and my plate, and began buttering the cooked bread. As I did, I hummed Della's Lullaby that she wrote all those years ago. The butter slid on the bread smoothly, coating each slice perfectly. Ok, that's done now. I then put the knife in the sick to watch later, and took the bowl to the fridge for later. I then made my way over to my dining room, and sat down in the nearest chair.
