"𝔹𝕖𝕪𝕠𝕟𝕕 𝕋𝕙𝕖 𝕎𝕒𝕝𝕝" (RAY X READER) - The Promised Neverland

𝔄𝔫𝔡 𝔣𝔬𝔯 𝔱𝔥𝔞𝔱, ℑ 𝔪𝔲𝔰𝔱 𝔢𝔫𝔡 𝔶𝔬𝔲𝔯 𝔩𝔦𝔣𝔢 - 3 -

After the kids went back to the house, it was already late, meaning it was time for Conny to leave.

"I wasn't as smart as you guys when I was here at the house, but even after I leave, I'll do my best, don't worry I'll be fine because I have little bunny with me!" Conny says, already in her traveling attire. Don started to tear up, "Conny..."

"LITTLE BUNNY?!?!?!?!?!?!?" Emma looked shocked to see little bunny on the table. "Conny already left with mom!" Gilda said, as she and Norman walked in, "W-WHAT SHOULD I DO!"  Emma shouted in panic, "You can still catch up to them if you hurry, I saw the lights still on at the gate and mom's not back yet, I don't think Conny left yet." Ray said, Emma and Norman rushed out the door in a hurry. "I'm going to go check on them, I'm a little worried..." you state as you rush out the door chasing after. You smile to yourself again...'So it's those two now?'

You hid near the gate at a distance where they can't see you and listen in.

"C'mon lets hurry Emma" you hear Norman say. The two ran and arrived at the gate, "Don't get near the gate..." said Emma remembering her mother words, "We know, lets get scolded together after this" Said Norman

You decide to wait for them outside in case they see Conny's body...

Sneaking in, they see a truck, "Conny...?" their voice echoed in the empty silence. They stopped in front of the truck and looked around it, "Wow, I've never seen this type of car before..." said Emma, There was water dripping from the ceiling of the tall building and water leaking on the walls, Emma stepped closer to the back of the truck to see its content...

Lifting your own skirt you take out your gun to load it. 

'Hmmm, seems like the cat's out of the bag.' You smile to yourself again, Emma and Norman huh? They were very intelligent, such a pity...

"N-Norman...." Emma stuttered out his name, fear in her eyes as she dropped lil Bunny and stepped away from the truck. "?" Norman, slowly stepped towards the truck to see what Emma seemed to be so scared of, when his eyes met Conny's dead body with a red flower sticking out of her chest, his body froze, eyes widened.

"Hey! Is someone there?" Said someone from the door near them, "Wasn't there a voice?"  "You're probably just hearing things." said the other person. The voice snapped them out of their thoughts and they quickly hid under the truck.

They heard the two "people" talk as they neared the truck, Emma and Norman peeked through cautiously, blood still running cold from the sight of Conny, it was revealed that the two weren't people....no, they were demons. They picked up Conny's dead body and undressed her saying something about "High quality" and "Food". They put Conny into a tube with strange blue liquid in it.

They talk to who, seems to be mother Isabella about the children with the top 3 full scores. Emma, Ray, and Norman. Hearing this, Emma's breath hitches, "Wait...I smell something" Said one of the demons.

Emma and Norman ran out of the gate as fast as their feet would take them, "W-Was that Conny? please don't tell me it was, it-it must be a mistake! Mom would never do that!" Emma stuttered out of breath from all the running. "I'm sorry...but I think it was-" 

"Fancy meeting you here." you spoke with a gentle smile on your face.
