You knocked twice on Aoi's door, smiling fondly when the brunette opened it."Y/N!" She grinned, swinging open the door. "Come on in!" You did as you were told, setting your stuff down onto Aoi's bed.
"Is anyone else coming?" You asked as you showed Aoi the snacks. She shook her head.
"I feel like we've been drifting a little," She confessed. "So, it's just us tonight. Is that alright?"
"Of course!" You smiled. "We could help each other with our assignments!"
After studying and typing for about half an hour, you, Ishimaru (from Mondo's dorm) Aoi finished chapter two, begrudgingly deciding to share the doc with Leon. You closed the laptop and opened a packet of Doritos when Aoi piped up."So, you and Ishimaru, huh?" She smiled slyly. You yelped.
"What?"
Aoi smirked. "You heard me!" She teased. "Plus, didn't you know him before Hope's Peak?"
You rolled your eyes as you both leaned back on her bed. "Well, that doesn't necessarily mean I have feelings for him..." You mumbled. Sure, you felt a funny feeling whenever he laughed at one of your jokes or when he fended off Leon, and you felt a small twinge of jealousy whenever you saw him hanging out with other girls... but that wasn't love, right?
"Damn..." Aoi whispered. "You've got it bad!"
"I said that aloud?"
"Yup." Aoi grinned. "I ship it!"
Haha title name go brrrr
Ishimaru's pov
"No, you multiply six by twelve then add the answer you get to two hundred and sixteen to get the answer!" Ishimaru sighed, exasperated. You were better at math, but if a girl was in Mondo's room for even half an hour, let alone a sleepover, things were sure to get... unwholesome.
Mondo leaned back after writing the answer down. "Jeez, Kyodai, go easy on me will ya?" Mondo then proceeded to put on his gutter-minded smirk. "I guess you only go easy on Y/N though, dontcha?" He rolled his eyes while Ishimaru tried to figure out how much more dirty minded Mondo could get.
"As I have said," Ishimaru ruffled Mondo's corn-like hair, watching and Mondo pulled it into a hasty man bun, "we have a platonic relationship."
"Oh, come on!" Mondo whined. "It is so obvious that you two have feelings for each other. We've been over this kyodai!"
Ishimaru felt himself become flustered at the thought of being in a relationship with you. "What makes you say that?" The ravenette huffed. Mondo sighed.
"Ya really are dense, kyodai! I see how riled up you get when Leon— no, any male that isn't you— goes even an inch near her."
"I just want to protect her like she protected me when we were younger."
"She will glare whenever another female— sometimes even me, but only on rare occasions where she's real pissed— asks for your help."
"Why would she be jealous? She doesn't have anything on them, nor do they on her."
Mondo opened a packet of popcorn and passed it to Ishimaru. "Do I have to explain jealousy to you?" He flicked Ishimaru's forehead softly. "She thinks they're going after you."
Ishimaru's eyes widened. Did you really think that? Maybe you did have feelings for him... but did he return those feelings? No, he did. He knew he did because he'd had them since the day you two had met. But then he thought about his parent's relationship: His mother was dead, his father an ex cop and abusive... they had had love for each other, right? That's the only example of a relationship he'd grown up with, and he didn't want that for either you or him. He'd learned to be afraid of love because he knew how it could tear people apart.
"Odai... kyodai!" Mondo's big hand waved past Ishimaru's eyes, and the moral compass suddenly realised that he had curled up against the biker's chest. Instead of reading back, Ishimaru snuggled further into his best friend's chest, Mondo responding by wrapping an arm around his back and rubbing it softly.
"I do love her, but that's what I'm afraid of."
Nobody's pov
"Hey, Leon!"
Leon looked over his shoulder to see Junko and Mukuro running after him. He smirked.
"Hey girls~ what are you following me home for?"
Junko rolled her eyes. "Well, we have a killer plan in mind, and I thought you might want in."
Leon frowned, planting his hands on his hips. "And what do I get out of this?"
Junko smirked.
"Killing a certain hall monitor."
Leon didn't even need to think. He knew that if said hall monitor was out of the picture, you'd be his. All his.
"Supply the biggest knife you have and it's a deal."
