(Also I changed the cover cuz I made my own-)

It had been about a week since the stabbing, and things had changed for the better, the first thing being that school security increased and became over-the-top about checking student's bags for knives. If you had been allowed to bring something dangerous to school, you needed a permission slip from your teacher. And the second was definitely the best: Leon had been expelled and had confessed beforehand that Junko Enoshima and Mukuro Ikusaba had put him up to kill Ishimaru, and the sisters were sent to the top tier asylum with the most uptight security all the way in Australia.

You twirled a pen in your fingers, eyes trained on the grammar test in front of you. Usually, you would have banged out all of the questions in under a minute, but your mind was elsewhere.

The hospital doesn't have any guards at all, your mind spun. Ishimaru could be in danger while I'm doing this stupid test! And what if Leon somehow found him and still wanted vengeance? What if —

You wrote out all the answers to the test and looked up at the timer on the board. Five minutes left. You rolled your eyes, still fretting over your crush's safety as you went through and corrected the grammar in the questions the teachers wrote. Jeez, I'd think by now, after years of schooling, teachers and other adults would have gotten grammar and spelling down pat, but they can barely tell the difference between there, they're, and their. Sometimes, they don't even put capitals after full stops, question marks and explanation marks. It's disgraceful.

"Time's up!" The teacher yelled, breaking your train of grammar thought. "Hand up your papers to me."

You picked up the sheet of paper and stretched your legs as you walked over.

"Y/N!" Someone tapped your shoulder and you turned to see Aoi grinning. "How do you think you did?"

You shrugged and handed up your paper. "Not my best I don't think. My mind is elsewhere." The old bell rattled and you walked out the classroom, Aoi and Mondo at your heels.

"Everyone knows that," Mondo rolled his eyes. "Ya look like a fuckin' daydreamer in class, even in English!"

"Yeah, I know." You sighed, grabbing your usual platter of food and heading to the table. "Honestly, I can't wait for Ishimaru to come back..."

Mondo gave you a sympathetic pat on the shoulder. "I know, I feel the same way."

"Everyone does." Aoi reassured.

"But," You took a bite of your lettuce, "I'm not gonna let us be friends any longer."

"Huh?!" Aoi and Mondo yelped.

"What the fuck, Y/N!" Mondo snapped like a bloodthirsty dog. "He trusts you the most out of anyone!"

"Y-Yeah!" Aoi sighed in disappointment. "Honestly, Y/N, I thought you were better."

"Calm down!" You spoke over them. "Let me finish the damn sentence!"

That must have scared the two into silence, because they listened without interrupting from there on out.

"I'm not dropping his friendship," You said, "End of the day. Back gate. Confession time."

Mondo smirked. "Finally!" He ruffled your hair. "All that hard work paid off!"

You flicked the biker's forehead. "Don't get so hyped," You told him. "There's still the chance of rejection."

Aoi rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on, Y/N!" She punched you in the shoulder. "You think there's still a chance of rejection after all you two have been through? Have some confidence!"
