A new friend

I didn't go to dinner that night. I sat on my bed looking out the window Opal sat on my shoulder picking at my hair.

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

I turned groaning it was probably hiccup again. What do you want Hiccup I said swinging open the door.

Oh I'm sorry, Lisette said quite startled are you busy... I just needed to know if you were coming to Training tomorrow it's at 1:00pm after lunch, she folded her wings behind her so she looked human sized with her wings it makes her look two times as big.

I thought about it for a moment. Sure, I say nicer this time.

She looked up on my shoulder and her eyes lit up. Oh what a beautiful owl, she exclaimed.

Thanks I say her names Opal.

Oh I should introduce you Bailey, she said. She lifted her fingers to her lips and whistled.

In a few seconds I see a blur of blond pass by spooking Opal.

I looked down and see a wolf sitting by Lisette's side she had a golden flank and her paws and under belly was bleach blonde and did I mention Bailey had a pair of golden and bleach blonde tipped wings folded neatly behind her.

Wow I say petting Bailey's head, I've never seen a winged wolf before. I hear a familiar purr and I see Toothless and hiccup walking down the hall Hiccup was talking to Jack about something. Hiccup saw me and ran over.

Hey why didn't you come to dinner, he asked.

I shrug still petting Bailey

Well I guess I'll see yah in the morning.

Ok I say goodnight.

Goodnight he says back. Hiccup turns to Lisette and dips his head, Goodnight he says and walks off back to Jack and Toothless.

I see Jack wink at me I just roll my eyes and look at Lisette who's face had a tint of red.

Hummmm...you like Hiccup don't you I say
