We were out at the market down town it has been a year over the time me and Jack were supposed to be changed back to spirits.

Jack stopped and put down the lettuce he was holding. I'm not sure, snowflake, I mean it's not like we can transport to the workshop we do that that would cause attention and we'd be discovered.

I know I said adjusting the basket, but we haven't heard a thing in over 6 months the weather is still going haywire and now even the mortals are getting scared, plus next week it's my 20th birthday.

---Few hours later---

I called Opal and within a few minutes she was perched on the stairwell.

Hey Opal, I greet her she gave me an affectionate nip and hooted.

You know how to carry letters, right.

She block in understanding.

Ok well we need you to send this to hiccup, ok.

Opal hooted took the letter in her beach and flew off into the night.

----3 weeks later----

Me and Jack were sitting on the deck outside it was on the verge of winter I was now twenty years old Jack twenty one although our looks didn't change our age did. Opal never came back no new came from the workshop, the moon seemed to get dimmer and the weather was more chaotic it would be a surprise if winter was actually cold.

Hey snowflake, Jack said his brown eyes were looked on the landscape, I actually missed his beautiful snow like hair and piercing icy blue eyes. I missed the cold twinge that ran though my body when Jack would wrap his arms around my waist, do you think we should just move on with our lives, instead of living in hiding.

I was caught off guard with this sudden question.

I mean think about it Jack said, we could live normal lives, we could get married like we talk about on rainy days, we could start a family, get a house, and a job, and just grow old together.

I was silent, it sounded as if Jack had given up on the others.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door, I'll get it I said getting up, I walked over to the door and when I opened it each and everyone of the guardians was standing at the door.

Your guys are alive I exclaimed.

Lisette stepped forward and handed me a note. I looked down. What's this for I asked I looked back up but didn't see any thing It's like they vanished.

Hey Jack I said opening the letter.

I'm sorry for all the chaos and mayhem the world has gone haywire and there is one way to stop it.
