Into the fog

I ran to Charlie's room and knocked on the door I heard something fall over and I heard her curse. She opened the door and her hair was a mess she must of been asleep.

Yes, she said.

What were you doing asleep, I asked.

Taking a nap, she yawned.

Ok well I think I know what attacked Lis.

She tilted her head interested.

It was what you call Freaky No Name.

What how no one can find a way to get in it took me forever to find a way.

That's it he just appeared then faded.

Like a shadow.

No he was there in person or creature.

So why did you wake me up.

Will you come with me and Jack to find him and put an end to him.

WHAT?!

I'm not immune to the fog if I go I'll loose my memory and why didn't you ask Lis.

I looked at her like that was a stupid question. I lowered my voice you know I can't bring Lis she could get extremely hurt even killed and if that happens I wouldn't be able to handle that I can tell by the way she look at hiccup and the way hiccup looks at her they love each other but they don't realize it and she's the only family Jack has left.

She looked down and nodded true.

Fine I'll come but hiccup has to stay here with her you know Lis she'll make up some excuse why she has to come. but with hiccup here telling her not to go she won't she listen to him because she knows he wouldn't lie to her.

I nod in understanding and walk off to arrange everything.

I managed to get Charlie, Jack, and me out quickly and silently with out Lis knowing. I took a mixture of herbs and different things from Lis's room and stuffed it into my bag turns out Jack is immune to the fog as well...( why he didn't tell me this sooner I don't even think he knows) but Charlie isn't so hopefully these mixes will help her not have the fogs affects. Turns out the fog is regular fog but what makes it black and inky is the poison in the air it can only travel in heavy air and what better way to travel than fog. We headed for the center of the fog and nearly instantly it was like night had swept over the land. We couldn't see our hands but I see a faint blue glow and I fly toward it the only thing I heard were low evil growls and snaps and the soft and nearly silent flaps of Charlie's wings I had a feeling something else other than No Name was in here. Suddenly I hear Charlie scream in pain and the glow which I realized was coming from Jacks staff lit up brighter and I see Charlie her hand was held up to her shoulder and she was trying hard not to make a noise. She took her hand off and I saw teeth marks they looked like animal teeth but it had two or more rows like sharks but in the shape of something else.

I heard a howl and I jumped nearly knocking over Jack. I then feel a hand pill me down to the ground and Charlie was hiding behind a rock with cloth tied around her shoulder she was pointing mouthing something to look to the left I turned my head and I see No Name the creature stood there back turned and not doing anything it...just stood there.

Jack came up next to us and whispered. What's the plan.

Uhh...I didn't that that far ahead. I confess.

You what?! Said jack whisper yelling

Ok ok ok heres the plan Charlie whispers. Jack you need to somehow be able to make this fog go another way sti- just at that split second I a black shadow jumped at me I grabbed my dagger and slammed the blade into what ever it was. Jack and Charlie yell out for help and I see they were being attacked as well it was so dark I couldn't even see what was attacking them but in the distance I heard more...a lot more heading out way. Jack blast his with ice and Charlie for some odd reason carries around a bag of rainbow sparks witch I just found out on contact with any other thing that is a target it instantly paralyzes it long enough for her to draw her double blade sword and Finnish what she started. I look at the three creature that attacked us they were like wolves but on there heads the skin had peeled off and the meat and eyes were eaten or rotted out of the head leaving the wolf with a bloody skull for a face it also had patches of black sickly looking dead fur peeled off reveling bone, muscle, blood and one had its small intestines tangled in knots around its body. I saw Charlie nearly loose her lunch at the sight Jack gaged at the rotting dead stench, I nearly did both. We hear the howls and growls closer and we hide behind a huge rock.

---jacks POV---

I didn't see No Name any where in order to find him and stop him I'm going to have to leave Charlie and Hannah here and go and try to find him...or it.

Hannah, Charlie you two have to give me time to find this thing I say.

What are you crazy you can't be off by your self in this stuff you'll be killed for sure, Hannah said she sounded worried

There is no other way Charlie said looking over the boulder...there nearly hear she said come on it's now or never and with that she flew over the bolder sword draw.

Hannah looked back at me she had a worried look on her face but it was faint compared to the stubbornness and anger in her bright eyes. I though she was going to yell at me for making a stupid plan or tell me to stay here with her but what she did nearly made me shoot up to the moon she quickly kissed me and on the lips too I was to surprised I thought she would have hit my arm and told I had a stupid idea but she didn't it lasted nearly as quickly as it started.

Good luck she said and then flew over the bolder.
