Before he could get to her again,I ran and sat beside her and pulled her in close to me and she buried her head into my shoulder. I rested my head on hers. I couldn't care to see her like this.

as soon as I heard those words my heart sank. How could a father do that to his own daughter. There was things annie wasnt telling me and I needed to find out.

I was so angry. All I could think about in that moment was julianna. I cant believe I didn't realise before. That was why she was sad all the time. Maybe that's why all them scratches are on her arm. As she cuddled close to me i realised something. Im in love with her.

Annies POV

My hero came running out to me. He yelled at him and dragged him off me and i felt relieved that he was off me but i couldnt help but cry. I was so scared but as soon a Asher puled me close to him I felt protected.It was clear that he cared for me. He stroked my hair as he yelled at my dad to leave. I need to fill him in with what happened in my past.

In that moment nothing else mattered. We both leant against the lockers sitting on the floor. I sat with my legs over his and cuddled close to him. Our heads rested on eachothers. OH NO....i think im in love with Asher Angel.

Asher never left my side the rest of the day. He told all my friends what happened and reported it to our guidance councellor who said that she would take it up with the social services. Asher told me that we could go out another time, but i insisted that we still went. Itll take my mind off everything. I just really hope he doesnt come back.

Its now 5.00 and I have an hour to get ready. I jumped in the shower and dried my hair. Im debating weither to cut it or not. I put on some light makeup and decided o wear a short black top with lined trousers. I wanted to be comfortable. Im actually excited for our date. Even if its a suprise.

The doorbell rang. OMG.OMG. He's here.
HL- Ill get ittttt!
HL- She will be down in a seconed and HI im Hayley. Annies sister. (she shook his hand)
AA-Its a pleasure to meet you Hayley. Im Asher. (he hugged her)
i walked down the stairs to the door.

He held out his hand and he escorted me to the car.

Ashers POV
we jammed out to my bro johnny the whole way to our destination. Annie looked happy. If she was happy i was happy. She was so beautiful when she sang, she had an incredible voice. I could get usedd to it.

A- Are we nearly there Ash?
AA- JUST ABOUT!

i parked the car on the sand and her face lit up.

A- awwww asher this is so pretty. Thank you.
AA- your welcome. HEre. I got you this.
A- ohhhhhh...i love it. I needed a new swimsuit.

(she kissed my cheek) that feeling ran through me again. I had a plan to make us official tonight. It can be her early birthday present. That is if she says yes.

AA- WELL WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR LETS GO.

Annies POV

He took us to the beach. HOW ROMANTIC. He gave me a new black swim suit and i love it. We played around in the ocean. I got on his back and he threw me in but before i could get him back he ran back to the sand and sat there.

A- Ill get you back for that at some stage.
AA- pah. we'll see about that.
i looked up towards the sky, admiring the sunset.
AA- Annie? Why did your dad do that today?

my heart was beating fast but i had to tell him.

he pulled me in close to him and he stroked my hand as i calmed myself down.

AA- Anns. I know it might not be the best time to ask you this but.....i wanted to know......would you be my girlfriend?

I jumped up on him and wrapped my arms and legs around him and i kissed his cheek.
We lay down on the blanket and watched the sun set go down.

AA- Annie....i..i think im falling for you. Like real hard.

he began to lean in slowly.....i did too.....and just like that. I felt his lips on mine. I was living a dream. We broke from the kiss.
