False hopes

Alex was sitting down the shower, the cold water was running through his drenched clothes. He has tightly wrapped his arm around his body with all his strength .It was in the moment when he screamed his heart out and shattered into tears making his body fall on the floor.

Everything was running in his mind like a flashback and he was lost in it all , not for a single moment tears stopped coming out from his eyes.

And the last thing he heard was Jimmy screaming his name. And then it was complete black out.

Jimmy saw Alex down the shower and he ran to off the shower. alex's whole body was shivering.
Jimmy picked him and laid him on the couch removing all his wet clothes. Jimmy was too shaking seeing Alex's condition.
Somehow he made him changed. And called to a nearby hospital.
Doctor came and examined him giving him a shot and left assuring jimmy not to worry as its just a little fever caused due to him being in shower for a long time.

An hour has been passed and Alex was still unconscious.
Jimmy was anxious what to do next.
He called Lawrence.
Jimmy: where is Noah.
Lawrence: hello sir, he is in a meeting right now.
Jimmy: make sure he don't get free today on time.
Lawrence: Alex is alright?
She asked as she is sure that only he could be the reason.
Jimmy: yeah , just do what i say.
Lawrence said: he is already scheduled busy till tomorrow.
Jimmy hanged the call.

Jimmy has seen Alex's car leaving from Noah's house. Their entire family was there to announce the marriage of Noah and Elsa.

And his doubt confirmed when Alex texted him if he knew about Noah and Elsa before.

He was worried about Alex.
When Jimmy turned to see Alex. He found alex who was already back in his sense.

Jimmy rushed to Alex.
Alex didnt took a second to repeat his question.
Alex: you knew it from the day 1 right?
His eyes were heavy and tears were in it.
Jimmy: I tried to tell you the day you told me about you and Noah, but I was not sure if Noah will really marry Elsa or not!!!
He was explaining himself.

Alex: just go.
He said taking a deep breath.
Jimmy: alex....
Alex: just go for god sake go.
He screamed pushing his head on the pillow.
Jimmy: no i m not...
Alex: jimmy I beg you please.
He was crying mess.
Jimmy couldnt see alex like this .
He leaved the building with heavy heart.
And for next two days. alex didnt picked any call nor did he responsed to any texts.
Jimmy only went to Alex's when he is not there only to leave there food packets.

It was 11 in the night. Alex entered his home and saw Noah in the living room sitting on the couch.
Noah: you are so late. And you were not even answering my calls. He said whining.
Alex: I was into a serious case.
Noah: what was that.
Alex: it was a long surgery.
He said very slowly moving into his room to change his clothes.

Whatever it is but Alex knew it very well that he cant resist Noah.
His heart was still not able to accept the truth.
He changed and came back to his bed where Noah was already lying.
Noah: is there something bothering you.?
Alex just wanted hear everything by Noah. He wanted Noah to say everything and not lie anymore.
Noah pulled him softly in his arm. Alex made him do so. And every single moment pain inside him was just killing him slowly.

Alex: Do you love me?
His eyes were glittering with tears but he didnt wanted to seen by Noah. He closed his eyes tightly.
Noah: yess Always ...more than even my life.
Alex knew it was a lie but still he felt good.
Wiping his tears with his sleeves he turned towards Noah not letting Noah see his tears.

Alex: then love me..
Noah: all of sudden..you are just back from a long surgery all tired..you need sleep.
Alex: just do it.
His tone was different this time.
Noah: Alex.....
Alex: I want it.
He pulled Noah into a warm kiss pushing his body on him.
Alex hovered over Noah...not letting Noah notice his silence. In no time they were making love....one out of pain...one for no reason.
Hours passed....Noah was lying next to Alex playing with Alex's ears.
Alex: Do you want to say anything Noah?
He asked in hope to hear the truth.
Noah: I love you.
Alex's heart ached hearing only wishing it to be as true as Noah was pretending it to be.
