NO ONE'S POV
"You remember Kim Yeon Ha?" Hyunjin looked at her, only to be met by Y/N's shocked gaze. She couldn't believe that he wanted to talk about Kim Yeon Ha in front of her. The Kim Yeon Ha that almost broke their friendship. Well, they weren't really friends that time but it's the same thing.
She nodded. "She's the reason you didn't like me?" Y/N gave him a puzzled look. "You were too similar to her. The way you act, the way you do things, the way your favourite place is also the rooftop. Everything was too similar and I hated that about you. But once we started over, I saw a little piece of you that wasn't the same. It was different. But I don't really know what it was."
"But what did Kim Yeon Ha do to y- oh sorry. You don't have to talk about it." She was ready to get up but Hyunjin held her back by her wrists, making her sit back down. "Kim Yeon Ha, she was my ex-girlfriend. I met her during my trainee days. She was my everything, my reason to keep going on in life. We were very close. We used to do things together all the time. Some might say that I'm closer to her than with any of my members." He turned to Y/N, giving a sad smile. "But one day, she left. She left without saying anything. No letter, no call, no text. Nothing. Only one piece of a small sticky note. That said, let's break up." He let out a small laugh. A laugh that was meant to sound happy, but only sadness was heard.
"You know what's the thing I hate most? The one thing that I hate most is that I still love her. I hate that I still think about her when I go to sleep, and when I wake up. So when I see you, I get reminded of her. All the times me and Yeon Ha had. The good and the bad. In short, she hurt me."
He was now tearing up a little. When he said those things, his mind gave him flashbacks of all the little memories with Yeon Ha. He didn't like it. He wanted to forget all of it. "I'm sorry." He said as soft sobs now filled the quiet practice room.
Y/N's heart broke seeing him in this condition. He doesn't usually show his emotions in front of others. He has a large wall built around him, keeping his emotions and feelings all to himself. So to see his state like this, she felt bad. She didn't pity him though. Instead, she sympathized with him.
It wasn't the same situation, but she did feel the same. She knew what it felt when someone left her, all alone. All alone with no one else to turn to. She too, had felt that once. Although she lost all of it because her life changed when she met Wang Ja in high school. But she knew exactly what he felt. The hatred and sadness mixed with sorrow and lovingness.
Hyunjin felt a pair of arms covering his body. Patting his back gently, his tears fell onto her clothes. Yet again, he let her see the soft side of him. The side that he was trying really hard to keep to himself. Yet when she's there, he couldn't control it. It flows out unwillingly.
With her grip loosening, she let go of him. He turned up to meet her soft gaze, Eyes red and puffy from crying. The tears still dropped, slowly. "S-sorry for ruining your clothes." She looked down, to find her clothes soaked with his tears. "It's okay, I have plenty of these. A-are you okay?" She shifted her eyes back to him, softening again when she saw his faint smile. "How about we go eat? There's a store I saw nearby with good food. Maybe it'll cheer you up?" She tried to change the mood because what could go wrong with food?
She stood up and extended her hands to him. He smiled again and took her hand in his. "Here." Hyunjin gave her an extra hoodie that he always brings in his bag. "What for?" Y/N walked up to him. "Wear it over your shirt. My tear stain looks ugly on it and I'm Hwang Hyunjin. I can't be seen next to people with tear stained shirts."
There he goes again, Y/N thought to herself. She really would not be able to get used to his confidence level. It comes and go at random times. One minute he was all sad and unmotivated the next, he was roasting the life out of her. It's sad that she's always the victim to his high confidence.

Y/N POV
After we finished eating, we headed back home. I opened the door and walked inside to find all of them in the kitchen. I was about to greet them when Hyunjin covered my mouth and pulled me into my room. Was I... Was I getting kidnapped in my own house?
He closed the door gently and let go of his grip on me. "Listen." He told me, placing his hands on my shoulder. "They're outside making a VLIVE right now and you cannot be seen in it. Make sure to be quiet. Okay?"
"Yea sure. But did you really have to kidnap me? Was it really necessary?" I gave him the are-you-serious look. "It was the first thing that came to my head. It was a reflex. Sorry," he face was flushed in embarrassment.
Now I really wonder what goes on when I'm not in the dorm. What did the boys do that made Hyunjin have that so called 'reflex'.
"Apology accepted. Now quickly go back out. Your fans must be waiting for the emo blonde dude." I teased him as I opened my door and pushed him outside.
He was offended. "Excuse me? For your information I am not emo." He scoffed at me. "Just go. Quickly. I don't want to keep you from your fans." I closed the door on him before he could say anything else.
After a while, I heard them doing their greeting and then, I heard Chan's voice shouting, "Welcome to Chan's Kitchen." The house erupted into claps and slight laughter.
Today wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. At first it was a bit stressful because of the exams but then when I danced with Hyunjin, all the stress was set free. It felt amazing to say the least.
Today's best part was when Hyunjin opened up to me. He always seemed like a cold guy in front of me but today, I saw his soft side. And that made me feel closer to him. And i know... I always say that I'm getting closer to him. But it's for real this time. This time, we were making progress.
