It's too late, Big Guy," I said, and as I laid him down to sleep"

I went to watch the baseball game that was televised while it was raining heavily outside

״This is a real storm, Bob!" Said the broadcaster "The game will probably be canceled."
The broadcast was cut off, it was possible to understand that there was a cable problem so I saw Netflix instead
‏"I'm scared ... of lightning and thunder ..." he murmured
"lightning and thunder?" I said and then lightning flashed and after that there was a loud  thunder, Tubbo went under the blanket quickly, trembling with fear
"Do not worry about his goodness, it's just thunder and lightning" I said and saw his goodness sticking out of the blanket again

"Here, I have an idea: Daddy will bring you Billon and tell you a story that will calm you down" I said as the rain outside rose and you could actually hear the drops landing loudly on the window

He nodded and went to look for Billon while I brought random books I had found in the little library in his room

He returned to the room and covered himself with a blanket. "What story will you read to me?" He asked

"Let's see what's up ... a revolution? No ... Barbie in Wonderland ...? You are not a daughter ... The captain's diary at sea ...? "

Tubo hugged Billon, looking at me with a frightened look

I read the book but Tovu's condition was like the weather outside. It only got worse

He started crying, scared

"Don't cry Big Guy," I said, trying to cheer him up

Story after story after story. It was already midnight and he was exhausted but too scared to sleep

"Wait a second, Daddy's going to fix something" I smiled and went to my room.

I moved the snacks I brought for myself, the empty bottles of alcohol lying by the bed, my cigars, the new weapons I bought and my ammunition ... everything! And I took them to my closet, locked them there

I whispered to him again "Billon is already asleep, how is it that you and he slept with Dad tonight?"

"Can I have one last story there?" He asked, hearing the fatigue in his voice

"Yeah, but it's Dad's story." I picked it up and picked up the next textbook

I arrived I wrapped him happily

"What story will you tell me?" He asked me

" school algebra problems, it always puts me to sleep when I have difficulty sleeping" I said with a smile and opened a random page and started reading

After a few minutes he is already asleep, hugging my arm

Well, my little son ... I'm always here .... not to worry
