Clarissa stare at the door where the inspector dragged Steve away. Mira who walked in the police hugged her. Not knowing what else to do?

"Why are you hugging me?" Clarissa asked confused at her behavior.

"You hear something horrible? How could I not?" Mira said pulling away from her. She rolled her eyes turning to stare at Cara who looked devastated. Well she will add more misery to her life.

"So, Sebastian is my brother?" Clarissa asked. Mira gasped at her sudden words while Cara looked down.

"It was a one time thing. It happened and before I knew it I was pregnant with Sebastian" Cara looked down tears trickled down her cheen. She rolled eyes.

"Could you stop with those crocodile tears?" Clarissa sighed why does she can't answer without those tears?

"Are you in denial? Clare" Mira asked, she was acting like her normal self.

"Why would I?" Clarissa asked raising her eyebrows.

"I mean if Steve said the father is my mother I would have believed but my father. Are you kidding me?" She chuckled.

"Clarissa" Mira said loudly.

"You don't know my father, Mira. He is a sick twisted bastard. If Sebastian was his son then he would have been dead before coming in this world. My father would not allow a bastard out of wedlock. He follows Valentine family as if he is those rules. And Valentine family always follow old ways. So, that's not possible especially if he knew Sebastian is his son."

"What if Sebastian is an exception?" Mira asked.

Clarissa smiled at her even though it did not reach her eyes,"My father broke his own son mentally just because he was trying to change something not to his liking. Do you really think a bastard from a no one would matter to him?" Her words was cold, chilling everyone in the room.

"Then why would Sebastian??" Mira bit her lips before complete those words.

"Sebastian is not idiot who would believe everything you serve on a plate. Steve must have provided him enough information to make him believe that" Clarissa smirked looking at Cara.

"And I have an linking to believe that my father is the one who provided that proof"

"Now Cara tell me who that man is?" She asked looked at Cara who sit there frozen.

"It was Raven. Was not it?" She asked. Cara looked at her with fresh tears filling her eyes.

"I.. I"

"I am sorry you have to go through that but that does not mean you will just keep quiet about the whole thing. You started this mess Cara and you had to pay for it"

"But it does not clarify the clause which I saw" Mira asked frowning.

"Will you do us the favor? Cara" Clarissa asked. Cara looked down rubbing her face before saying.

"I.. I was pregnant with Sebastian when I fall in love with Steve. Raven would not let me go. He was sure that the baby was his. I.. I told him it was Steve's. He was angry and wanted me to pay for c..cheating on him. So he came up with the clause. So, that Steve would loose everything"

"You know that but still never told Steve anything?" Clarissa frown.

"I.. I could not being myself to tell him the truth. So, I.. I lied"

"Lied??" Clarissa glare at her.

"How fucking dare you? Do you know you one lie is the reason of everything happened?" Clarissa glare at her, it taking everything in her not to hit that woman.
