"Hawkblaze! Hawkblaze!"

Hareface sat at the edge of the huddled cats who were yowling the newly declared warriors name. Her sister, Wrensun, was sat not too far away and seemed to be yowling extra loud.
'Of course, since Hawkblaze is her friends kit.'
Eventually the crowd died down, and the felines began to part to continue on with their day. Hareface padded towards the new warrior who was already talking to his brother Tawnypaw. She only knew the tom through her kits, who spent almost every moment they could with Hawkblaze. They never were seen apart. But now that Hawkblaze was a warrior, the group of friends were separated and Hareface guessed that it wouldn't be the same.
"Hawkblaze, congratulations on becoming a warrior!"
Hareface spoke, patting the grey toms back with the tip of her tail. Hawkblaze smirked in appreciation and pushed his shoulders backwards in an attempt to appear bigger.
"Thank you Hareface, I cant wait till my brother takes his assessment then we can both be- well"
Hawkblaze turned his head towards the medicine den which was am entrance in the earth, covered with ivy and with stones piled at its entrance. All of the dens were formed in a simular way, being a hole in the slightly dipped ground. The camp was an ex-project of the twolegs, therefore the camp was a dugout in the ground.
"When he becomes a full medicine cat."
Hawkblaze reconnected his gaze with the she-cats, pity clouded his hues. Hareface knew that since the two were kits they both dreamed of being amazing warriors, but Tawnypaw chose the path of the medicine cat and at first Hawkblaze was infuriated but over the moons he had learnt to understand his brother.
'I'm glad he didn't turn out bad..'

Hareface eventually left the young toms side and crouched in the sunlight at the edge of camp, basking in the heat. Her hues gazed around the camp, squinting in the bright sun. In camp, a few warriors were sharing tongues with each other and appreciating the new-leaf sun along with the medicine cat, Bloomsnarl, collecting prey and bringing it back to his den. The sound of brambles rustling in her ears caught her attention, to where Lightstrike was leading a border patrol back into camp. Since Bloomsnarl's medicine cat meeting, the deputy had seemed extremely jumpy and Hareface was surprised he had the confidence to lead a patrol out. Of course no one wanted to ask him what was wrong, because if they did Lightstrike would always deny seeming afraid. Hareface herself has tried to ask him what was wrong but of course he gave her the ordinary statement that he was fine. On the patrol, she noticed one of her kits Prairiepaw had clamped in his jaws was a plump water vole. Hareface couldn't help but purr at the sight of son, she admired her kits so much. They were the best part of her life.
"Prairiepaw! Nice catch."
Hareface watched as one of the queens, Brightbelly approached the apprentice with a bright smile stretched across her maw. Brightbelly was the mother of one of the apprentices, Brittlepaw and she frequently visited the apprentices to greet them or possibly give them extra prey.
Prairiepaw looked up and replied to the queen however Hareface did not hear. Eventually she got to her paws and stretched her long limbs until they quivered and padded towards Prairiepaw who was still with Brightbelly by the freshkill pile.
"Excellent catch Prairiepaw, why don't you bring that to the elders?"
Hareface spoke, lovingly licking her son in between the ears. The young tom nodded at her command and briskly padded away to the fallen beech tree that made the elders den.
"Hareface, why don't we share prey. One mother to another."
Brightbelly asked, pushing away rancid pieces of prey from the pile.
"Of course, what harm could a bit of prey do."

Licking her jowls, she turned to face the other she. Brightbelly was continually licking at her black, grey flecked, shoulder, until she eventually caught Hareface's gaze.
"Hareface? Something wrong."
The ginger patched molly sheepishly tucked her front paws underneath her chest, turning her hues towards the earth. Sudden fear clawed at her stomach, however she truly did not know why. Instead she made up an excuse.
"Oh it's just I'm worried about my kits becoming warriors already- it seemed not so long ago they were bouncing around in the nursery."
A small, reassuring smile lifted upon the queens maw.
"Oh pity. They have to grow up some time."
"I guess.."
Brightbelly curled her plump body around Hareface and lapped her back fur the wrong way, in an attempt to calm her down.
'Why am I feeling so jumpy? Like cold eyes are watching me-'
She thought silently, dropping her angular head down into her front paws. Out of the corner of her irises she spotted a calico shape. The blurr's deep green eyes staring down at her from across the clearing.
'Turtledove?'
