"hey girls." karl walked through the door, looking at the four girls sat in the living portion of the room. perrie was asleep, her head buried into jade's neck while jade rested her head against perrie's, and jesy and leigh were sat watching a movie on jesy's laptop.

"how was mam's surgery?" karl asked jade.

jade looked up.

"she just got out, nurses have been in and out checking on her."

"hi karl!" leigh shouted.

"leigh, hun, voice down." jade said to her, leigh looked her and laughed, unknowing to what she said.

"leigh? are you listening?" jade tried.

"what?!" leigh shouted again.

karl walked over and pulled the double headphone adapter out of the laptop.

"stop shouting." karl said to leigh and plugged it in again.

the girls laughed and perrie groaned against jade's neck.

"shh..sorry babygirl, go back to sleep." jade whispered into her ear. perrie shifted and was now further down jade's body, her head resting on her chest. jade ran her hand rubbing perrie's lower back.

"are you dating or not? everytime anyone brings it up you change the subject." karl whispers to jade.

"i dunno. we haven't talked about it."

"has anything happened?" he pushed.

"kissing, cuddling, a few make out sessions but the farthest we got was-" jade was cut off by perrie slapping her arm and mumbling a 'shut it.' jade smiled and nodded at karl.

"karl? jade?" a weak voice said from the room beside them.

"pez, baby, i have to get up."

"ughhh" perrie groaned again. jade sat up and perrie fell down her side, collapsing onto the settee. 'ow' she whines.

"hiya, mam." jade said sitting beside norma, taking her hand.

"when can i go home, pet?" norma asked wan-tingly.

"not yet mam, you only got out of surgery half an hour ago." karl said sitting on the opposite side to jade.

"soon?" she tries.

"soon, mam. soon." jade said squeezing her hand. "i do have something to tell you though, mam. and i'm not sure how you'll react but i hope you'll be happy."

"jade, your rambling." norma interrupted.

"well uhm..the girls and i we are thinking of getting back together. we made up and they moved into my house over in cali."

"that's amazing pet-" norma breathes deeply, "i'm so happy for you."

"there's another thing too.." jade says looking down.

"jade." norma spoke sternly.

"i'll be right back."

"perrie..wake up." jade said tapping the blonde.

"fuck off man i'm sleepin'."

"no, i'm telling me mam about us, get up." jade grabbed perries hands and pulled her up.

"what? your doin what? why dint u tell me?" perrie slapped jade's arm.

"just..come on." she said.

leigh and jesy got up and peaked around the corner to watch the scene.

"mam..you know perrie."

"hiya pet, how are you?"

"i'm uh i'm good thanks, norma."

"mam.."

"what, jade? your acting weird."

"perrie is my..girlfriend." jade spoke quietly.

"jade, i'm half deaf. stop mumbling."

"perrie and i are dating." she said louder.

"okay? and?" norma was confused.

"your okay with this? i've never spoke to you about it n i dunno..i was nervous. we both were."

"jade, your my daughter. i don't care who you love, have sex with, live with whatever. you are my daughter. i love you for you, pet." norma took jade's hand in hers. jade hugged her tightly, whispering a thank you.

"hurt her and i will hurt you."

"shouldn't you be saying that to her?" jade complained.

"no, you hurt her already and if you do it again, i'll whack you."

perrie sniggered behind her, jade glared at her.

"i'm messing with you, pet." norma patted jade's hand. "and as for you two." leigh and jesy froze. "yeah i seen you." they walk into the room. "i'm happy your friends again." she smiles and the four looked at eachother and grinned.
