A/N: It's a slight AU because Samandriel is now alive after the fall
You were entertaining yourself by expertly throwing gummy bears up in the air and catching them in your mouth without fail. It was something you'd practiced when there was nothing else to do in the bunker.
"Alright," Dean said suddenly, causing you to miss your mouth and hit your nose instead. You narrowed your eyes and poked your tongue out at him as the little bear plummeted to the ground and bounced under the armchair you sat on.
"Such a waste of good food." You pouted and sunk further into your chair.
"You literally have three more bags of those things."
You scowled playfully at him. "So that's three bags of gummy bears now mourning their lost comrade," you said dramatically, placing your right hand over your heart. "Your loss will not be forgotten, brave soldier."
"What about the ones you- never mind, we have a job for you."
"A job? Search and rescue for a lost little bear separated from his family?"
"Well... sort of. You remember Alfie?"
You didn't have to think about it for long to remember him. How could you forget 'Heaven's most adorable angel'? "Uhh... yeah?"
"He's going to be staying here for a while. He doesn't really have anywhere to go since heaven was closed off."
You tried to ignore that fuzzy feeling that bubbled up inside of you when you thought of Samandriel. Not that you'd ever admit to it in a million years, but you'd had a crush on that sweet and adorable angel since that day at the auction when you first met. "Oh, okay."
"And," Sam spoke up walking into the room. "You're going to be the one to watch him."
"What?"
"You don't have to do much, he is an angel, but you will have to watch him, make sure he doesn't get into any trouble, take him clothes shopping, teach him about -"
"Clothes shopping?" You raised an eyebrow at the both of them. "Not a fan of the uniform? Do you want him in plaid flannel?"
"Well if he's going to be staying here all the time," Dean gestured around the bunker, "I don't want to have to see those red and white stripes everyday."
You sighed, smiling and nodding. "Okay, there's a mall nearby, I'll take him there."
"Take who where?"
You sat up quickly at the sound of the voice, smoothing out your clothes, before remembering not to appear too happy to see him. "Oh, hi, Samandriel." Samandriel smiled slightly at you using his full name while Sam and Dean were smirking at you behind your back. You stood up and walked over to him. "I'm taking you shopping."
"Shopping?"
"Yeah, you need new clothes," you said, gesturing to his shirt.
"I don't see what's wrong with these," he replied, looking down at his shirt as he adjusted it. "This is just a vessel."
