MALFUNCTION!!

Problem 7: First Day at School with Okaa-san

Kyotsuki's POV:

"Ichi.. Ni.. San.." Okaa-san taught me how to count. It was quite fun. My eyes glimmer whenever she smile and cheer me up. I can't help to just smile at the scenario. One time I remembered, Okaa-san was super duper worried at me, Not because I got bullied or anything, but because I tripped over my own feet. She always told me to watch over my feet. "Okaa-san, do you like Uncle Sawada..?" was one of the careless question I threw at her.

She just replied to me with a truthful gleam in her eyes "Yeah. I still like your Uncle Sawada.."

"Does that uniform fits you, Kyotsuki-chan..?" Sawada asked from the other side of the door of the comfort room. Oh yeah, Today, Uncle Reborn enrolled me to Namimori Chuu. I don't know why but Sawada said it's because he wants to, and what Reborn wants is what happen. Looking in the mirror one last time, O opened the door. On the other side, it revealed Sawada looking at me. "Well..? Does it..?" I asked and slowly turned. He just looked like he saw a superstar but shook it off and replied "Kyoko-chan's uniform suits you..".

After hearing it, now I remember how they got the uniform. They told me that Okaa-san was willing to let me burrow her uniform, since she got lots of extras. They agreed and Okaa-san let me burrowed two of it. Now that I feel it, it's kind of amazing to think that my past okaa-san's body were the size of mine. E-even so.. "I think this uniform doesn't fit me at all.." "No it isn't.. It fits you, I swear in the name of Buddha.." Sawada said and looked away.

I giggled at him and told him that it was just a joke. He blushed madly but Uncle Reborn suddenly barged in, kicking Sawada's face and said (Sorry, Uncle Tsunayoshi..!) "Don't scrub your lovey-dovies here, they're waiting Dame-Tsuna.." and left without an apology. Same old Uncle Reborn. After that, I helped Sawada up and went outside. They were there, so as okaa-san. They all greeted us and we greeted them back. We walked on after that.

Not too long, I've finally spotted Namimori Chuu. "That'll be your school for now on, Kyotsuki-chan~" okaa-san whispered to me and gave her bright smile. I can't help but to smile back and nod. It is quite hard to admit but, being here is oh-so real. As we walked over the gate, I suddenly saw my future don't want to be husband for okaa-san, Mochida Ken. Gawd, Even in this time, he looked like a disgusting animal. We just walked pass through them.

Mochida's POV:

I saw my ex-girlfriend and Loser Sawada with his ever loyal nin-cam-poops. Despite I already knew that she broke up with me, I won't lose that easily.. "Hey Michida-sempai, Didn't you notice that Dame-Tsuna had this brunette girl with him..? I think she's new.." one of my subordinates said and pointed at the so called Brunette. Wow, What a cutie. Forget about Kyoko, I'll make her be mine, instead.

Tsuna's POV:

We went first in the classroom since Kyotsuki-chan hadn't asked on which room she'll be. While we're at it, we still have enough time to talk to other students. Although the only people I could talk up to is Gokudera-kun and Yamamoto. *Sigh~* "Hey, Tsuna-kun~" Someone started up a conversation and god-knows who he/she was. I just started to lower my head to close my eyes for a second but he/she interrupted.

Not knowing who he/she was, I replied "Yeah.. What is.. it..?" . Oh Great Buddha!! It was Kyoko-chan! Wait, she!? Talking to me!? I'm in HEAVEN!! Anyways, she smiled at me, took a sit near me and said "I felt oh so light and content whenever Kyotsuki's around.." "You do..?" I asked as I tried to make our conversation as normal as ever. I really wanna scream to joy right now. "Yeah.. And it was like She's someone close to me or something.." she said as she blushingly smiled at me.

I'm definitely in HEAVEN. I shooked my overwhelming joy as I smiled at her and said "Well That's happy to know~" "How about you, Tsuna-kun? What did you felt when you see her..?" Kyoko-chan asked and moved the chair she's sitting on near me. I'm gonna die happily NOW!! "We-well.. Uhh.. How should I---" "Good Morning Class.."our homeroom teacher said. Kyoko-chan suddenly stood up as she turn back to me before returning to her seat "Talk with you later about that, Tsuna-kun~~".

I wanna die happily now!! And for the second there, I cursed our teacher for interrupting my moment with Kyoko-chan. Hahaha~ Silly me..

Kyotsuki's POV:

"And now class, I would like you to meet our new transfer student.. Please come in.." The homeroom teacher said and looked at me (the door was open of course). I got in a bit shacky because this will be my first time studying in a different era. But my uneasiness disappeared as I saw my okaa-san in the classroom. She gave me a smile and a good luck. Now's the time to never waste my mom's cheer!

"Hi everyone! My name's Sakamoto Kyotsuki! 13 years old and please treat me well!" I said with a smile. Everyone (I mean every boys in the room except Gokudera, Yamamoto and Sawada) blushed and cheered on me. The teacher shouted them to shut up and they did. After that, their homeroom teacher told me to sit next to Sawada. I did as what he said, others looked despite and others looked jealous.

As I got a sit, the teacher gave me an excuse on that day, since I'm a transfer student. "Never thought that you're the same age as Kyoko-chan.." Sawada whispered to me and looked backed at the board. I giggled at him and replied "Although she'll turn 14 and I just turned 13.." "Wait, what? How'd you..?" "Mr. Sawada! Stop flirting with Ms. Sakamoto! We're in the middle of classes!" the teacher shouted making Sawada stop and get embarrassed.

I felt ashame for making him talk to me.

Kyotsuki's POV:

Class ends and now I'm walking home with them. I was at Yamamoto's side while at his side are Sawada, okaa-san, Uncle Ryohei and Gokudera. It seems that it's a surprise that both Sawada and Okaa-san were talking at each other. We three actually didn't bothered to break them appart at all. It was a wonderful scene to look at and never thought that Gokudera finally agreeing onto what was we three (Me, Sasagawa [Ryohei] and Yamamoto) thinking.

When it was time to go onto our seperate ways, Sawada bid everyone a farewell. As we all got seperated, I went close to Sawada and teased him a bit "Ohoho~ I see that you're being oh lovey-dovey with Sasagawa-chan~~" "Aren't NOT! It's just that she was.. in.. Interrogating me! Yeah! Tha-that's a-a-all.." He said and blushed madly. I can't help to think that they really looked like a couple.

I continued on teasing him till we reached his home. Now I got back, I smiled as I set a lock on mission in my mind:

"I feel so happy.. I'll definitely make you and Uncle Tsunayoshi together.. I promise.. Okaa-san.."

"Starting this day on, try to countdown your days here by a journal.." Reborn suggested.
"Too bad, I thought she'll get home soon enough.." Tsuna worringly said.
