Chapter 6: 'Bunny Ears'

Your family wasn't very happy with what happened at the Plex that day. Once they saw the news they began calling you over and over again to make sure you were okay. Your little brother was just sitting on the floor watching the broadcast confused at why his parents were freaking out the moment they saw police cars in front of the plex on the screen. It was extremely boring to the little boy, until they showed the security footage. 

"And here we can the kidnapper pretty clearly because of his bunny ears." The reporter said, circling the golden ears that stuck out above the crowd.  "And if we keep watching, you will notice the animatronic bear, Freddy Fazbear himself, making his way through the crowd to stop him!"  He circled the bear once he appeared on screen. 

The screen went back to the male and female reporters sitting at their desk. 

"And that's not all! After Freddy managed to get the child away from the criminal, he was quickly apprehended by a female security guard named Y/n L/n!" The woman reporter stated with a grin. 

They panned back to the footage of you thrashing the man onto the floor with just your fist. 

"Talk about girl power!" The woman laughed. 

"And if you thought it couldn't get any better, this woman is no ordinary employee! She is also a waitress, stock organizer, and many more! She has gotten employee of the month ever since she began working at the plex! And now they say that she has also been given the position of the head mechanic of the animatronic performers themselves!" The male reported. 

"We will now show you an exclusive interview with the heroine herself after the break!" 

"Mom! Dad! Y/n is gonna be on the news!" Gregory called out, his parents ceasing their panic, and looking onto the tv.

"Ms. L/n, how long have you been working here at the Plex?" The Interviewer asked the girl.

"Almost three years!" You answered. 

"What's it like having so many jobs here?" 

"It was, difficult at first, but once I realized why I got those jobs in the first place, It was like I just clicked!" 

"I've heard that you recently been given the job  of head mechanic over all the robots in this establishment! Is this true?" 

"Yes! It's been almost a year since I got the position!" 

"Did you have any knowledge of mechanical engineering at all?" 

"NOPE. But I learned over time, still learning!" You laughed when something caught your eye. It was Freddy, we was, drinking something? Motor oil?! "YOU CAN DO THAT?!" You screeched at the bear, who just shrugged in response. 

"Speaking of Freddy, after the whole ordeal, the security footage shows what seems to be you and him having an 'actual' conversation! Could you explain that?" 

"Well some people seem to let it fly out their brain that these animatronics are highly advanced equipment and need to be treated with the utmost respect!"

"Wow, you sound like you have been working in this field all your life! You must be 'extremely' close with the animatronics! Especially Freddy!"

"Yes I am!" Your eyes lit up. "I know there not living breathing beings but there is just something about them I can't describe! Which is why I am personally extremely excited about our newest animatronic that will be making her debut soon!" 

"This leads me to my last question, There have been some rumours about you going around your mechanical coworkers..."
