Another superhero?

Part 3

                                    -𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐤𝐢𝐝-

For the whole car ride, Bella just plugged in her headphones and played her favorite songs. Tommy had thrown up once or twice because he had choked on his food. Bella always tells him to chew more. She doesn't really get 'scared' by puke, she helped her mom clean it in fact.

Even tho the drive was about 30 hours, it went by super quick for Bella. She got to see different states, take fun pictures, she FaceTimed her friends to show them big stops. Everytime a convertible passed them, she would stick her head and scream at the top of her lungs to the person driving. Normally it was a teenaged boy. Which was embarrassing.

After the, 30 hour car ride, they finally arrived at their destination. Swellview, Utah. They pulled up to a modern large family home, with 2 adults and a boy Bella's age outside. As she got out of the car and stretched. She flung her wavey brown hair in a high pony. Tommy tapped Bella's shoulder. "That boy is looking at you" Tommy said winking. Bella rolled her eyes and looked at the other boy. And man was he attractive. He had dirty blonde hair, a blue and green flannel and black jeans on. As Bella's dad went to catch up with his 'old friend'

"Bella go say hi" her mother said while grabbing bags from the back of their truck. "Mom do I have to." Her mother glared at her, "okay I'm going." Bella walked over to the family, there was a blonde women, an older man who Bella's dad was talking to and a boy. The women smiled at Bella and nudged her son, who was looking at his phone. "Hi, you must be Bella," the women said. The boy looked up from his phone looking bored. But when he locked eyes with Bella he put his phone in his back pocket and smiled a bit. The women walked over to Bella's mom and helped her. "Hey, I'm Henry" the boy said smiling. "Hi, Bella" she greeted him. They talked for a few minutes as everyone brought in the things from the cars. "I'm, mrs. Hart where's my room?" Bella asked Henry's mom. "Oh, you'll be staying with Henry." She said walking upstairs. Henry looked surprised, "what, mom!" He said running after her. "I have to share a room with Henry?!" Bella asked her dad. "Yes, done deal alright? They don't have any spare rooms." Bella argued with her father. But she still ended up having to share with her attractive roommate.

She made her way up to Henry's room, and knocked. "Come in" he yelled. Henry was sitting on his bed playing with a tube of gum. "Hey, what's with the gum tube?" Bella asked as she walked over to the other bed. "Oh- uh- just getting a piece. He said as he threw it to the side. Bella brushed it off. Even though it was weird, really weird. "Uh, I didn't know where to put your bed, so I put it where my couch used to be" Henry said scratching the bed of his neck. "Okay, thanks" Bella said putting her bags on the bed. "Um Henry." Bella asked. He looked at her, "heh, um. Could you maybe, help me out at school tomorrow?"
"Oh, yeah. My friends are coming over tonight for game night. Wanna join us?" Henry smiled.
Bella smiled and looked in her hands. "Oh sure" she smiled.
