Another superhero?

-Bella's pov-
I quickly walked downstairs when Henry ran over to his watch. "hi kris. Do you know where my mom is?" I asked Henry's mom. "She went out with your brother and one of his friends." She smiled at me. "Why bell what's wrong?" She said starting to look worried. I fake smiled, "oh nothing at all. Just was gonna ask to borrow a belt" I said as I walked over to the couch. I texted my new friend, jack who went to school with Henry and I.
"hey can I come over?" I asked him.
Almost immediately he responded with yes.
I didn't want to go back upstairs but I had to. I needed to get my things.

I walked up the staircase and into the room, Henry was sitting on the bed with his hands in his hair, messing it up. I grabbed my bag and walked out again not realizing Henry was behind me. "Bella we need to talk." Henry said worried.

"No henry I'm going over to Jack's house." I said not looking at him. He grabbed my shoulder and turned me around. "Please" he begged. "Sorry. I have to go." I said leaving him at the door of the house.

I know seeing someone hover over a watch isn't too bad. But it's weird, technology like that hasn't been released yet, anywhere. So that had to mean either Henry made it, or someone else did and gave it to him. Most likely someone else made it because Henry's not that smart. But the fact THE captain man was talking to HENRY was even weirder. I am going to find out how he knows Henry and what he needs with him.

I finally arrived at Jack's and knocked on the door. His sister, Mandy answered. She was also my friend, but not as close as jack and I. He had smooth blonde hair and the prettiest brown eyes. With tiny freckles around his face. Most girls had a crush on him, but not me. Jack and I are just friends. "Jack's up In his room." Mandy smiled. I nodded and walked upstairs. He was sitting on his bed, scrolling through his phone. "Hey J." I said sitting in his bean bag. "Hey Bells what's up?" He said plugging in his phone.

I didn't want to say anything about Henry just because it wasn't Jack's business. "I am doing a project on captain man. Wanna help?" I lied. His face flowed. "Yes." He said excitedly. I laughed at his dorky ness about captain man and pulled out my phone and laptop. I looked at my texts before I opened my laptop and saw that Henry called me 36 times and texted me 61 times. I rolled my eyes and put my phone down. "You guys are still fighting?" Jack said chuckling. Even though I've only been here for a week I've gotten really close with jack. He sat with me at lunch on my first day and hung out the rest of the day with each other, and everyday after that we've been hanging out after school. "yea. He's just being annoying now" I told the partial truth. Jack nodded and took out his laptop. "Okay loser. What do you need to know about swellview's personal superhero?" Jack asked.

"Everything."
