A blinding white light woke Bella. She could hear muffled arguing. "How was *muffled*"
"I was in the bathr*muffled*" what were they arguing about.
Bella tried to open her eyes. She could see a bright white hangover light above her. Her entire body was numb. "Hi Bella, welcome back" a blonde women said nicely. The muffled arguing stopped. "W-what h-happened?" Bella muttered. The nurse took a deep breath, "you died."
Thoughts ran through Bella's mind. How was she alive, why isn't she dead right now. Who saved here. How did she die.
"How?" She whispered. The nurse looked at Bella's mom then her. "You were struck by lightning. We don't know how you came back to life, but yet here you are." The nurse said confused. Bella sat up in her hospital bed. Her parents looked at her with worry. "I'm sorry" she told them. The nurse stepped a few steps away from Bella and said, "Bella... there's another thing" Bella looked at her confused, "you hit 4 ambulances with lightning bolts. While your eyes were glowing" the nurse said with fear. "W-what?" Bella stuttered. "Bella. We are leaving town. To many people saw. Say goodbye to your friends because. We're leaving tomorrow." Bella's dad, Jefferson said. "But- where will we go." Tommy asked. "I have a friend in Utah. She has kids your guys' age." Jefferson said. "I'll leave you guys alone" the nurse said walking out.
Bella's parents walked out to sign paper work for Bella's release while she said bye to her friends. "Bels! I can't believe you're leaving!" Bella's best friends came running in, Eli and Kasey.
Kasey gave Bella a huge hug with tears running down her face. "Don't leave" she cried. "I'm sorry. My dad- he um. He- he found a house in Utah." She lied. Well half-lied. "But you can, live with me!" Eli frowned. "Sorry losers. I can't leave Tommy alone." Bella frowned. Her and her friends talked for a bit before Bella's mom came in and said it was getting late and that Bella had to rest. "We'll miss you Bella" they frowned as they left.
