Dilemma

Dilemma Part Seven

      Three blissful months follow, filled with secret meetings and heated make out sessions.
       You are back working in your role with the new girl group. They are busy preparing for their debut later in the year and about to announce their name to the world. The odd day here and there you are asked to work with BTS, which is obviously a bonus for both you and Jimin.
        So far you have resisted his attempts to get you moved onto their permanent team; you are worried that it would be too obvious.

         It is hard for you both when they have to go away for days and weeks at a time, but you understand that's the way it has to be. He texts you every day and you facetime whenever possible.
        The mutual attraction is obvious; you cannot keep your hands off each other at every presented opportunity. You haven't done the deed yet, but it is getting more difficult to resist for both of you and the reality is when it happens, his wish is that you will go public, to the company at least and you don't know how that will be received, or even if it will be accepted.
         If it was not, that would be unbearable and worst case scenario, what if you are fired for it?

         You soon begin to realise that you are head over heels in love with Park Jimin and when he makes the declaration, "Y/n I am in love with you."
         With no hesitation you reply, "I am in love with you too."
         From this moment there is no going back, only moving forward with your relationship and announcing it to the company and maybe the world.

         He also admits to you sheepishly, "Jin and Namjoon know about you, I had to talk to someone and they had started to notice something was different in me."
         You are completely shocked and look at him in disbelief "How did they react?"
         He gives you a heart-stopping smile and affirms,  "They thought it must be a girl, but were more than a little taken aback when I told them it was you; they didn't have a clue and wondered when it started and how we had managed to keep it so quiet" you both giggle a little, you were good at this sneaking around. "Anyway, I am taking you to the dorm later and we are going to tell all the members. Jin is going to cook up a storm. I hope you are alright with that? He looks at your face, showing a little concern.
         You manage a small smile and nod.
        "It will be okay, the members already love you, they will be happy for us" he whispers, as he squeezes your hand and presses it against his lips.
        "It's what happens next that scares the hell out of me" you admit.                    
         "Hey...don't worry about that now. One step at a time, my brothers will keep our secret for as long as we need, ok," as he gently lifts your chin to look into your eyes.
         And you're lost in the dream again.

         For the first few months that is exactly what happened. It meant that you could spend more time with Jimin as you were able to come and go into the dorm freely now that all they guys knew. When you visited the dorm the boys were always friendly and supportive of your relationship.

         As he predicted they were all sincerely happy for you. They treated you like a sister. While you were at work they treated you no differently than any other member of staff.

        Then the rumours started to circulate around Big Hit and you were being asked awkward questions from your colleagues, the six member girl group and other staff you didn't even know well or in some cases, at all.

        You denied them of course and explained that you and Jimin were just good friends, as you were friends with all the members. When you asked where the information had come from Jisoo had told you that it was apparently an overheard conversation in the canteen.

       "CANTEEN GOSSIP....jeez," you thought glumly.

        Some BTS members had dallied with staff in the past, it was secretly common knowledge, but none of them had ever stood the test of time. None of them to this point had found Miss Right, they were merely hooking up with willing girls and love was never mentioned.

       It was a Tuesday afternoon, when Mimi told you that you needed to report to the boardroom.
       "This is it. I am gonna get fired. Ughhhh!" You thought to yourself.

        You were surprised to find Jimin waiting for you. Looking at him with confusion all over your face.
        He took your hand in his and said "Ok Jagi it's time. We can't hide it anymore. I love you. Don't worry, I'm right by your side" he smiled his dazzling smile which you couldn't help return despite the fact that your tummy was in knots as he brought your clasped hands to his lips to gently brush them across your knuckles.
        You take a deep breath.

        He knocked on the door and opened it, walking in proudly holding your hand tightly, he declares "PD Nim, Sir I want to tell you that I am in love with this beautiful woman and we need your blessing to continue our relationship."

       It was silent. Bang Si-hyuk just stared at you both.

       He looked furious.

       Jimin's resolve did not waiver. He maintained his grip on your hand and eye contact with the angry man sitting in the large leather chair on the other side of the impressive dark mahogany desk.

       You could not bare the tension and averted your eyes to the floor immediately in front of you. Your shoulders dropping almost in a defeated stance. Awaiting the outburst you felt would inevitably come and the demand for you resignation or your dismissal.

       What will happen now?
