Not sure how to dedicate chapters on the new Wattpad layout, but this chapter goes out to @mcDuffey21 ! They were the first to ship Troye and Jamie which I just loved and commented on a lot of previous chapters! Thanks for the support!! xoxox

Troye POV

"Hey, how are you?" I asked Jamie sympathetically as she walked out of her bedroom and over to the kitchen where she grabbed a bowl and a box of fruit loops.

"Troye, you don't have to do that." She sighed, placing the cereal and bowl onto the counter top in frustration.

"Do what?"

"Act like I'm some victim, like I need to be hugged every three seconds."

"I can't help it."

"Your kind-hearted nature, although adorable, is quite infuriating." She sighed.

"Sorry for caring." I mumbled.

"I appreciate it, I really do, but I'm fine. What happened was needed and well overdue."

"Doesn't mean it doesn't suck."

"Do you want me to be sad?" She asked.

"A little... YEAH!" I replied. "You were together for two years, and suddenly, nothing?" I ask.

She took a deep breath. "I'm perfectly fine. I'm going to go get changed."

"Alright." I mumbled awkwardly. I sighed as she left and closed the door to her room. I knew she was in pain, I had heard her crying every night for the last 2 weeks. And it hurt me to know she refused to express herself to anyone, even Marissa. Even if Jamie and I have only been friends for a few months, she had quickly become an important part of my life - and hopefully vise versa - and to see someone i cared so deeply for in pain made me feel so useless and like i had failed my job as a friend.

"Hey, Troye." Marissa walked in a few moments later, by this time I was fully dressed and ready to head out to class.

"Hey." I gave her a kiss on the lips, she placed her bag on the couch.

"How is she?"

"Same." I replied.

She sighed in frustration. "I'm not doing my duty of bestfriend. I'm going to make her spill. Tonight."

"Good luck with that." I shrugged. "Don't be too late, we've got our date tonight."

"I don't need luck. Our date is exactly what I need. All I have to do is talk about how sweet and romantic our date was and she'll break down like jelly."

"Marissa, calm down, you want her to express herself, you don't want to break her.."

"It's been 2 weeks, any longer and I'll be banging her head against the wall." She sighed. "She's lucky i haven't killed her yet, actually."

I let out a small laugh and cocked a smile. "See you." I laughed out, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek and grabbing my things and leaving for class.

Jamie POV

"See you." I let out a breath and felt a weight lift from my shoulders, just the same as as it did for the last two weeks everytime Troye left.

I fell to the floor once i relaxed and no longer had a conversation to listen in on. I rested the back of my head against the door, not even knowing what to do anymore. I was tired of crying, i was tired of hurting, and most importantly, i was tired of being tired.

"Knock knock." Marissa said gently as she opened the door and my body slid with it.

"Aye, don't crush me." I said, standing up and moving out of the door's way.

"What're you doing?" She questioned suspiciously.

"C-cleaning.." i awkwardly stuttered, turning away and facing my desk, grabbing random books so i didn't have to face Marissa, even though i knew she knew i was struggling. I just couldn't talk to her, i didn't understand why. But i just knew i couldn't talk to her.

"Your door?" She asked.

"Uhh yep!" I chirped, stuffing books into my bag. "Well I'm gonna be late for class at this rate! Almost 9 already! Haha.." i awkwardly laughed, grabbing my things and leaving, Marissa following suspiciously. "Feel free to chill here until Troye gets back! Enjoy your date or whatever it is you have!" I walked outside and sighed in relief.. Now what?

Marissa POV

"Enjoy your date or whatever it is you have!" Jamie yelled before shutting the door.

"URGH!" I growled in annoyance. I crashed onto the couch, angrily turning on the t.v, mumbling to myself as i pressed buttons here and there. "Who does she think she is? She thinks she can lie to her bestfriend? She doesn't even have class today. Why would i come over otherwise? We were meant to hang out and you were meant to tell me everything about Isaac." I exhaled loudly. "Why won't she just tell me?" I asked myself, feeling hurt that my own bestfriend since pre-school no longer wanted to talk to me. What had i done to her to make her feel this way? Why do i have to find out the little information i know all from Troye? Someone shes known for just a few months?

I only had questions, ones i knew I'd never get the answer to.

Thought it'd be nice to change the mood a little, show a more emotional side and that's why i put all three main character's POV in it, so you can get a better feel for who they are and the way they think, especially Marissa, i know she hasn't had much of a main role but she is in fact and important part!!

NOW. I'M SORRY FOR BEING TOTALLY M.I.A but lets face it, i always do this, and apologies aren't enough, i really wish i was able to commit to updating but with school, work and other problems, this story - unfortunately - just isn't my priority right now. I hope you will forgive me and stick by my pathetic excuse of updates.. I LOVE ALL MY BEAUTIFUL READERS and i saw that there's already a few people in the last chapter shipping Troye and Jamie haha! I love it, keep your amazing support coming bc its honestly what keeps me writing, even if the update frequency sucks, i promise your comments mean the world to me. Thank you, everyone! xoxo
