Currently at APE headquarters, Papa and the other high ranking members of APE are looking at footages of Squad 13's missions.

Gorilla: It's strange. Regardless of how they do it, they're linking up in ways other squads cannot

Lemur: Does this mean the imbalances caused by individualized Franxx can give a unique asset to the squad as a whole?

Marmoset: But that's also a double-edged sword. The future we at APE exalt is one of calmness and uniformity

Baboon: So you say they are imperfect? How ironic

Papa: I'm thinking it's high time we moved them on to the next stage

Vice Chairman: To that area, you mean?

Akiri was getting out of Gladiolus when he heard Zorome and Miku arguing in front of their Franxx.

Zorome: Can we just drop this already?! I apologized didn't I?!

Miku: You did?! You think that was an apology?! Your heart wasn't in it at all!

Hiro: They're still at it?

Hiro asked as he was exiting his Franxx.

Akiri: I'd be more surprised if they aren't

Hiro then looked inside the cockpit to see Zero Two, still sitting on the pistil seat and looking down.

Hiro: Zero Two, what's wrong?

Zero Two: Just thinking about something

Akiri: You know you could always talk to any of us if you need anything

Zero Two: Thanks, Senpai... But I'm not in the mood to talk

Nana: Kids, we need to talk. I bring good news

They heard Nana calling to them from the bottom floor. They all then went down to gather in front of the caretaker.

Nana: Tomorrow, all of you are to dress in your formal attire and gather in front of the boarding house at 0900 hours

Futoshi: Formal?

Ichigo: What's happening?

Nana: Papa values what you've achieved in battle so far very highly. As such, though there is very little precedent, all of you are going to be awarded medals
