Code 003 woke up with little to no memories about who he was. He keeps having dreams that he once had close friends and someone special. Now, he is assigned to lead an inexperienced squad. But the longer he was with them, the more he is remembering...
It is another day and Squad 13 is currently in the middle of a fight against a klaxosaur.
Ichigo: Almost done. Let's gang up and end it in one hit!
Everyone: Roger!
They all went to rush the klaxosaur, but the klaxosaur then releases a blue slime-like substance.

Everyone got covered by it except for Akiri who dodged out of the way.
Miku: What is this? Gross!
Kokoro: It's all sticky!
Akiri: Everyone okay?
Ichigo: I think so...
Zero Two: It doesn't hurt
Kokoro: Yeah, seems fine
Miku: So it's just for show? How dare you spew this disgusting gunk all over us?!
Ichigo: Let's try it again, guys. Stick to the plan
Akiri: Alright. You heard her. Let's-
Akiri then saw that all of the Franxx except Strelitzia, was frozen in place.
Akiri: Guys? What's happening?
He then saw the klaxosaur charging up another attack.
Akiri: It's getting ready for another attack! Strelizia, with me!
Zero Two: Right! Let's finish it off, Darling!
Hiro: Huh? Y-yeah
Akiri went in with his sword and slashes the klaxosaur horizontally, exposing the core and Strelitzia quickly went in and pierces the core with her lance, finishing it off.
Akiri: That was close
He saw that the rest of the squad are still frozen in place.
Akiri: You guys got some explaining to-
Hiro: This is bad, Zero Two! It's gonna be exposed!
Zorome + Futoshi: Don't tell her, dumbass!
Akiri: Huh?
The girls then looked inside the cockpit to the horror of seeing their parasite suit slowly melting away, exposing their bare skin to the eyes of their partners.
Miku: Ah! My parasite suit!
All of the girls let out an ear piercing shriek, except for Zero Two.

After the mission, the squad then returned to the Plantation and docked their Franxx.
Akiri was getting out of his Franxx unit when he saw Squad 13 gathered with the girls covered with towels. Except for Zero Two who doesn't seem to care. He then walked over to them.
