I was about to start walking home when I heard someone call my name "Hey! Twyla! Wait up." It was Billy. He walked beside me. "Where are you off to?" He asked. I panicked. What if he wanted to come over! Dad would absolutely FREAK OUT if I brought home a boy. "um...I'm just going over to a friend's house.." I lied. He looked a little let down. "Oh, well cool. I guess I'll..see you tomorrow?" I nodded. "okay then, bye!" I waved as he jogged to a group of his friends. I ran the rest of the way home.
