Me and Billy had a wonderful time. We stayed at the Coffin Bean until dinner time. As he walked me home, we talked about school, our parents, really everything.
"Today was really fun" he said as we stopped in front of my door.
I smiled, "Yeah thanks I had a great time." he just looked back at me and smiled, leaning closer to me. I was freaking out. Was he going to kiss me? What was I going to do??
Of course I wanted to kiss him, so I leaned in as well. We were only inches apart when I heard my front door crack open. "TWYLA. WHO IS THIS?!"
Oh no....it was my dad.
Billy looked at my dad, " uh..I'm really sorry, sir... We were just-"
"I KNOW WHAT YOU WERE DOING, GO AWAY. I DONT EVER WANT YOU SPEAKING TO MY DAUGHTER AGAIN." Billy glanced at me and mouthed "sorry" before walking away.
Great, now I had to deal with my dad. "Um dad....it was nothing really..."
He shook his head. "Save it. Come inside, Twyla you are in serious trouble."

Twyla wasn't at school the next day. I wondered what happened between her and her dad. I felt really bad, like it was my fault. why was I so stupid?! Ugh. Twyla probably won't like me anymore after yesterday.
