Lying on the bed, wide awake, snuggled in the oversized hoodie, the distinctive scent of Seokjin being replaced by Sehee's own, she reminisces back to when she realised, she was in love with Seokjin.

Seokjin had 2 different personas. The one he showed infront of his friends and the one he showed infront of her. She had started to notice it after being with his friends for a while.

He always tried to be funny and loud infront of everyone. He liked making people laugh, feel good. He said, it made him feel good in return, more positive than before.

It was strange, she had thought at first but then she wasn't any different either. She might not be able to make people laugh but she fed them, helped them, listened to their grievances, trying to make them feel better. It in turn made her feel at peace.

So different, yet so similar...

The other side of his was the more serious one. He wasn't always silly. When he talked about a subject, he always had a burning passion in his eyes. And he didn't hold back from showing her his tired side either. He was so open and yet, so closed off sometimes.

After almost two months of dating, Seokjin had woken up first and served Sehee an absolutely amazing breakfast. It had tugged at her heart that time. Someone had thought about making her happy too. It had been a beautiful morning.

As they sat in her living room later, reading the newspaper, she had finally been able to see the real depths of the man that was Kim Seokjin.

As they read the headlines, they had lapsed into a very heated conversation about politics. Sehee wasn't the one to talk about politics much but she knew the basics. What amazed her however, was how vast Seokjin's knowledge was, how aware he was about everything.

Sehee could only listen enraptured as Seokjin continued to talk about various subjects. Him talking so passionately made her feel an unusual ache in heart. The kind of ache that you feel when you realise how amazing the next person is. It's the ache that comes out of admiration, respect..... love.

She had been unable to tear her eyes away from his form. The way the sunlight from the window hit his wide shouldered body, clad in a simple white shirt and sweatpants. His hair messy yet somehow perfect, falling over his head, the light playing tricks, making his dark brown hair look lighter.

His hands moved animatedly as he spoke about the different campaigns carried out in Korea for children and how he tried to donate whenever he could. Unaware of the inner turmoil going on inside Sehee's mind, he had continued to talk about anything and everything she was willing to listen to.

Sehee had been stunned as time passed, all concious thoughts fleeting away as her brain focused only on one person. Kim Seokjin.

His smile, his eyes, lips, hair, hands and the crooked fingers, his strong legs and the strongest of all his heart. His amazing nature, his compassion for others, his kindness and generosity, it all hit her right in the solar plexus.

She realised in that moment that she had fallen in love with the intelligent man sitting infront of her. She had fallen hard and fast for the mystery that was Kim Seokjin and was willing to unravel it slowly, in its own time.

Remembering that morning and the heated moments they had shared, brought tears back. It brought the ache back, which would only go away when she'd be able to meet him again.

Somewhere in her subconscious, the things she had said to break up with Seokjin were true. She was not only afraid of bringing any type of harm to Seokjin through her past, but she was also afraid of the future.

She had come to love Seokjin so much that she was willing to sacrifice anything but she was afraid, that someday, someday he might leave her for someone else. Maybe it were her insecurities, maybe the things she heard about the show biz but somewhere, whatever she said wasn't a complete lie.

She was guilty however. Guilty for not trusting Seokjin enough, to not seek help when he offered it. She was guilty of putting herself away for the sake of others. It made her look strong but it made her weak at the same time.

But it was better to lose herself than to lose Seokjin, if it meant everything would work out in the end.

A/N:

I wasn't supposed to open this app till 22nd but well, who cares. Especially when I know studying now is going to make no difference 😃. So, here I am.

A filler chapter but something that gives an idea exactly how much Sehee loves Seokjin. She might not be too vocal about her feelings but she feels just as much as Seokjin does for her.

Thank you for reading 💜💜
