"Sehee-ah, do you love eomma?" She heard her eomma ask, her face a mask of fear. Sehee was afraid too but she nodded. "Yes, Sehee loves you and appa very much."
The mother smiled brightly at her frightened daughter, trying to make it less, trying to give her only good memories but it wasn't her fate. She was meant to have those bad memories.
"That's my good girl, Sehee. Eomma and appa love you very much. Will you do something for us?" The little girl nodded again. The lady ran a shaky hand over the small head of her daughter. She took her hand and pulled her towards the cellar.
Once in the cellar she made the girl sit on the cold and hard floor. "Sehee-ah, we're going to play a game of hide and seek now. Ok?" The little girl's eyes lit up and she nodded more enthusiastically.
"Appa is going to come find us, okay. I'll go and hide somewhere else. No matter what you hear, what you see or whoever calls your name don't come out of here. Don't make even the smallest of noise. You have to survive till the end. Promise me."
Although it was a game, from the tone of her mother's voice, Sehee knew she was very serious. She had always been a bright child, aware of other's feelings. "I promise, eomma. I'll win this game."
Suddenly, her eomma was crying. She hugged the little girl tightly and kissed her wherever she could. "I'm so sorry, my girl. I promised to keep you safe and happy always but I won't be able to keep it. I love you so much, my love. Remember, your parents love you."
Even though she was scared, she still grinned big, knowing how much her mother liked her smile. "I know, eomma. I love you too. Now go and hide." With teary eyes, the little girl placed a kiss on her mother's cheek before closing the door.
As promised she didn't move, she didn't make a sound. But she heard. She heard her parents begging an unknown man to spare their lives. They promised to return his money but the man was loosing his patience.
Little Sehee flinched at the loud sound. She couldn't help but peek through the keyhole. She saw her parents on their knees infront of a man. He was dressed in an expensive grey suit, the thick rings on his fingers piqued her interest. She had never seen such rings before. They were ugly compared to her eomma's rings. But that's all she could focus on until his voice caught her attention.
"I'll leave you two." He said with a evil smile on his face. "You have a daughter, don't you? Give her to me." Sehee watched her father's face getting red from anger. "How dare you talk about a little girl like this? I'll give back your money, just give me some time and leave my family alone."
The man's smile fell away and the look on his face scared Sehee even more. "Too late, Choi. You're times up. The only way you can pay back is by giving me your daughter."
"No!" Her mother screamed. "Take me instead. I'm not that old. I'll do whatever you say, just keep my daughter out of this."
"Jagi, what are saying?" Her father said incredulous. "No one is taking anyone. I told you Mr. Shin, I'll pay you back everything."The man sighed, leaning forward on his knees. "I'm tired of these games. I don't care for your money. I told you, your time is up and that means..." In the next second two bullet shots were heard and Sehee watched in horror as her parents fell down, blood pooling around their bodies as the light of life left their eyes.
She put her hands on her mouth closing her eyes and tried not to cry as the other men started looking around the whole house. She didn't care. She could only see her dead parents. She could only see their blood and imagine how it must feel to not be able to breathe.
Suddenly she couldn't breathe anymore. She felt a vice like grip chocking her, cutting her air supply. A loud ringing sound was heard. It seemed to split her head in two, the darkness too overwhelming. A loud sound again and....
Sehee sat up straight, breathing hard and drenched in her own sweat. Her night gown stuck to her body like a second skin. She quickly gulped down some water, calming down her rapidly beating heart as she realised it was just a nightmare. A memory of her dark past.
The loud sound came again. It was the doorbell. She looked at the clock beside her, it read 3:27. Sighing, she got out of her bed and opened the door before checking who was on the other side.
She tried to give a bright smile seeing him after so long but she was failing horribly. Seokjin knew something was wrong and without saying anything he pulled her in his arms, closing the door behind him and her slight figure started shaking in his arms.
He didn't know what was happening but only knew that it was his turn to be there for her, supporting her as she had done for him.

A/N:I was going through such a huge writer's block. I tried clearing up the road with both my hands. My blood, sweat and tears were all seeming to go in vain but then like an angel Sadiyaaa609 came to my rescue.
