Chapter 3

Kara's POV

I was lounging on my couch with Alex eating potstickers and watching star wars when a blue portal opens in front of me and before you can say 'the flash' I see the one and only Barry Allen, accompanied by Cisco Ramon and Caitlin Snow.

"Barry! What are you doing here!?!?" 

"Is it a crime to visit my favourite superhero?" He says.

"No, no! It's great to see you!"

"Is this the famous Barry Allen I've heard all about?" Alex says, getting up from the couch to say hi.

"Yes, and I'm guessing this is the famous Alex Danvers?" Barry says, laughing.

I remove the box of potstickers from my lap and go give Barry, Caitlin and Cisco hugs.

"Hey Kara" Caitlin says.

"Hi Caitlin, Cisco it's great to see you two!"

"You too" they reply in unison.

Suddenly I hear a scream coming from a small hill close by. I look to Barry and we pass a look of understanding.

"We better check that out." I sigh.

"Yep" Is all Barry says.

We both quickly change into our super suits and rush to check out the noise. When we get there we see about 12 or 13 girls and boys huddled around a girl that looked to be around 18 holding a boy around the same age in her lap.

"Hey I heard screaming is everything okay in here?" I ask politely.

"Yea, we're fine just... nightmares" The blonde girl holding the boy replies. The boy and girl stand up and I get a good look at them. The girl had honey blond curls that cascaded down her back until about an inch or two past her shoulders with startling grey eyes that looked like she were scanning every move you make and everything about you. The boy and messy black hair that looked like he had just rolled out of bed in the morning. He has sea green eyes with specks of blue in them that looked like a calm sea. Both their eyes looked kind of sad and broken like they had seen too much. They were both absolutely gorgeous as if they were half god not fully human.

"Okay, I'm supergirl by the way and this is the flash" I say pointing to Barry.

"I'm Annabeth and this is Percy" The girl responds.

I take a look at everyone in the cave:

From left to right there was Annabeth, Percy, a boy about 15 or 16 with dark black hair and eyes with the same broken look in his eyes as the previous two, he also seemed to be fading in and out of the shadows with a permanent scowl on his face. 

Next to him was a boy that was like the complete opposite with a bright smile, a deep tan, blonde hair and freckles. He kinda looked like a human version of the sun. 

After him was a girl with medium brown skin and deep brown hair that was choppy and tied into multiple braids with the rest left out. I couldn't really decide on her eye colour as it seemed like it was always change from brown to blue to green and back again. 

Holding her hand was a boy with blonde hair and sharp blue eyes, he kind of looked like a blonde version of my cousin, superman. 

Next was a girl with chocolate brown skin and dark curly brown hair. She had golden eyes that weren't scary as you would expect rather more kind and gentle. 

She was hiding behind a tall buff boy with black hair and a military haircut. He had brown eyes and even though he was tall and looked extremely strong and intimidating at first sight his eyes and smile looked sweet and shy. 

Afterwards was a girl with black hair and brown eyes that were quite scary. Her hair was in a long braid and she held herself with much confidence. 

Then there was a short elf looking boy with short curly brown hair and brown eyes. He had a mischievous looking smile on his face. 

He was side-hugging a girl with dark almond-shaped eyes and caramel hair that was flowing down her back.

Then there was a girl with short black hair and the same electric blue eyes as the blonde superman. She was also kind of frightening and looked bored.

Lastly there was a boy with curly brown hair though it was mostly covered with a blue cap. He had brown eyes and used crutches to support himself.

"In order from left to right that's Nico, Will, Piper, Jason, Hazel, Frank, Reyna, Leo, Calypso, Thalia and finally, Grover." Percy says.

"Are your names actually 'supergirl and the flash?'" Leo asks.

"No, but we can't tell you our real names for safety of our family and friends." Barry says.

"Ah, ok." Leo says.

Calypso looks at him with an annoyed look on her face and roles her eyes. Considering how Leo is hugging her I'm guessing they're a couple and so are Frank and hazel and Jason and Piper. I then see Nico and Will holding hands and wonder if they're a couple too. That would be so cute!
