"So this is your room?" She asked.
Alex pulled in a rectangular box that seemed to be his gaming desk that was packaged. "Well yeah, it's quite big, I don't have lots of things to put in ether." He frowned.
"Me and Karl literally had to debate on who should get the smaller room"Emily gave off a confused look. "Fighting for a smaller room? Don't you want the biggest one, you know, shows that you deserve it more" she stated. Growing up as the youngest sibling she's pretty used to seeing her brother and sister fight over the biggest room. They'd tell each other that having a bigger room meant that you were more wise or some shit. Thinking back at it; It was really stupid to assume that the size of a room affect your behaviour, but she was just a kid back then. They wouldn't know what's wrong or right.
"Well, it's way better having a smaller room when you know you only have limited items. It's a fu4king pain in the ass with all this—Bleh" Alex flicked his hand to gesture out to the furniture-less room. "Fu4king hell. Dumbass table leg doesn't know it's place." he tried to fix the table while adjusting his beanie.
"Have you tried unscrewing that?" Emily said in disapproval. Shaking her head she sat on his gaming chair that she assembled a few minutes ago. It was pretty comfy, better than the lame office chair they used at home.
"You only tell me this now?" He sighed in a jokingly annoyed way.45 minutes later
"Phew. All done now it's just the photo frames" he said in relief.
"Good job, lol." Emily added on sarcastically, whilst slow clapping.
Alex looked at her in the eyes and frowned once more before looking back at the boxes.
"Let's be honest, you still would of been stuck on that gaming desk if it weren't for me"
He couldn't actually deny that. Alex really hated being wrong, preferably fighting back or keeping quiet. In this situation it was the second option.
Em unpackaged a smaller brown box labelled 'PHOTOGRAPHS" and pulled out the first one that laid on the top of the pile. You could tell this photo was a year or two old, it looked like a family photo with Alex right in the middle.
"Pfft-" She scoffed. "You don't have a hat on in this photo? It's like the only one where you aren't wearing a head assessor!"
"Wait no- fu4k why did I choose you to help me." Alex laughed. He took the photo out of her hands and examined it. "My birthday picture. It wasn't the best as I had a really sh*tty headache, but I'll make an exception" blowing a few times on the dusty photograph, the shelf displayed it perfectly."Hey, Alex? Everything sorted?" Harry popped in.
"Yeah all good"
"Alright then!"
Alex laid face up on his bed. He inhaled and let out a fed up exhale. "Guess we're all done, aren't we?" He asked
She looked around his room, from this PC to his closet. "Yeah I guess we are. Welp, bye then.""I just wanna say something: Thanks man. I Appreciate it" Alex said promisingly.
She left the room without answering or even seeming to notice. You could hear her foot steps walk down the stairs only for a huge THUD to occur. "SHET" Em shouted. "I'M GOOD, MY SHIRT FELL"
"How did your SHIRT make that much of a noise?!"
"I WAS IN IT-" She shouted back before continuing her way down quickly.
"I can't find one thing she isn't clumsy at. But to be fair I may be a bit clumsier." Natalie spilled.
"Hm, well let's hope you don't mess up my room then" Karl smiled, refusing to make eye contact. "Let's get to work"
