They all waited outside his door, frustrated by the fact that they were hearing him spill his whole life story.
"Harry, we're all done, we know you're done, can't you come out now? It's been hours!" Karl pleaded. His head was still filled with the thought of the blood leaking from that cut, it made him gag a bit and shake his hands out.
They didn't get a response from Harry. I mean, it's not like they didn't expect it, he was always like that. Not to say that he was arrogant it was more like he wanted alone time; preferably staying in his room and never coming out. The only time he'd respond is if there's something interesting happening. The blue numbers on his stereo pulsed "6:53 pm". Yastika sat outside on the rooftop watching a few traffic lights in the distance turn red to green. Wasn't the best view thought she liked the thought of the sunsetting-turning the clouds pink and red.
"There isn't many stars this evening." Harry affirmed. The window was left wide opened as he clambered through next to Yastika. "You gotta wait till it's midnight. That's where all of them appear""Really? I don't stay up till that time, normally I'll pass out before 10. I'm surprised it's already a bit dark at this time." she awkwardly admitted. Silence perched around them, the crickets chirped which made it way more embarrassing. A weird feeling rumbled in his stomach. Emptiness-closure?
"I think I'm gonna step back in" yastika jeered, stumbling she used the outer wall to support her up."WAIT- !" Harry yelped in a hurry.
Uhh, he was not supposed to say that at all. He cleared his throat while pulling his collar. Yastika looked confused as ever. The pinkish sky was turning orange. "Aren't you going to stay a bit longer?" He interjected. Kicking away a small piece of gravel she jumped back in his room and landed on his bed. "It's a bit too cold outside. Even at this hour." She avoided the whole awkward part and pretended that nothing even happened. They both sat on his bed tracing the wrinkles on the bed sheet.
"You already set up your room before them?" She asked even though she already knew the answer."Yeah. I was at the house before them, I dropped them off so they could go get more canned drinks"
"Oh" curiosity got the best of her as her eyes gazed around the messy room. "You play instruments?" She went on.
It felt like a little light bulb had went on in Harry's head "Actually, yeah! I play a bit of guitar , piano , drums but my favourite is the kazoo." He rummaged his hands in the bed side drawer and pulled out a bright red kazoo. The paint was scratched off thanks to the other objects rubbing against it. He took a small breath and started to play."Get it to it, I guess" she said laughing.
He let out an exhale, waves of the breeze radiate into the room "I could do another performance if yo- are you eating-?"The crunch of a biscuit went on.
"mhm, there's a pack of these on the floor, I'm hungry, so why not"
"You're eating in my very important kazoo 'concert'."
"It's snack time, bitch" she implied.
*sigh* He shuffled his way to the window and shut it close. It's nice feeling the last blow of wind fall upon your face. Pulling out his phone;Harry dialled a few numbers. Yastika always found the sound of dialling satisfying for some reason.
"Could I get a large pepperoni pizza...just one please."
Her face lit up with pure joy "PIZZA TIME!"
