Chapter 3_

Your pov

I looked at myself in the mirror. I had decided to wear (outfit of choice) and my hair was (hairstyle of choice). My phone buzzed signaling I had gotten a text, I checked and saw it was from Shinji, saying he was 5 minutes away. I told the sitter I hired that I would be back in about 3 hours if everything went well and exited my apartment getting in the elevator. 'Am I actually doing this? Going on a date with a guy I met at the grocery store? Well if anything goes wrong I'll use my quirk.'

2nd pov

The familiar ding of the elevator signaling you reached the floor you wanted brought you back to reality. You looked at yourself in the mirror one last time and exited the building just to find Shinji waiting in front of a rich ass car. (I couldn't decide on a brand so channel your car knowledge and find a brand you like 😊). Your eyes widened 'How on earth can he afford that?! Am I going on a date with a millionaire? Bitch pull yourself together!' you mentally slapped yourself.

"Hi!" he looked up from his phone "Oh hey! Ready to go?" he asked. "Yes, I can't wait." "Great! I made us at (fancy restaurant name)" he said while opening the door for you to get in his car doing the same thing for himself. 'Shit this car is fancy' you thought during the drive. "Ok I'm just gonna ask you... are you a millionaire or something?" he chuckled keeping his eyes on the road. "I'm very wealthy I guess, not a millionaire though." he answered your question. "Oh wow! I hope I wasn't too forward." you said rubbing your neck anxious. "If it was, I wouldn't have answered it. It's not as if I were trying to keep it hidden." he said cackling and you joined him.

Time skip to restaurant because author chan lives for food

Your pov

"I refuse to believe that actually happened!" I laughed at his ridiculous story. "But it did!" he insisted laughing as well. The waiter brought us our food bringing our laughing fit to an end. "This smells incredible! I've always wanted to eat here!" I said excitedly making him smile. "I'm glad you like it." he calmly said. "So what do you do for a living?" he asked me. "I'm just a simple secretary. I used to do something else but I got the kids I had to find a safer alternative." I said smiling. "Oh yeah! How are Zuko and Shuri?" "They are great! They begged me to come with me just to see you again." I responded with a laugh.

The rest of the night went by smoothly. Just us making small talk and getting to know one another. After a restaurant we walked in a park for a while and now we were outside my apartment building. "This was really nice, thank you." I said hugging him. (no covid-19 in this universe) "Yeah it was, we should do tit again." he said and looked at me. "I should go, I'm late." I said and turned to leave but he took my hand turned me around and kissed me. I was shook at first but melted in to it after a while. I guess five more minutes wouldn't hurt.

Ok this story is a bit hard for me and I'm not that great of a writer so to make things easier there are going to be many tine skips.
