Chapter 6

You close your eyes and relax. Trying to get back into the past has its own effects on your mind. It is quite tasking and also drains you mentally. You can remember all the past events. Being a boon, it also has been a bane for you. You cannot control your mind. You have to visualize all the events that you've been a part of. Mentally or physically. It takes you through all your memories good or bad, it doesn't matter. Hence, you mentally prepare yourself for an emotional journey. You cannot afford to lose track now and that's the sole reason you are very apprehensive about trying to perfect your almost perfect plan. There are two sides of everything, it all depends upon you. You have to prioritize, you have to weigh the sides, you have to take a call, the 'judgement call' as they say. It can either go haywire or work to your advantage. Trying to recall the whole of the last week will take up your precious time. So, the margin of you erring is almost nil. If nothing comes out of it, there would be nothing you could do about it. It'll not only be a waste of time but it will also mean that there's a good chance that you are gonna be left behind. It also will mean that that your biggest asset will suddenly become your biggest liability. It could be the reason to your failure. You know what can happen if you fail this time. The stakes are high and time is less. Your next step will probably be your penultimate step. You begin to realize that thinking is also taking up your time. The decision has to be taken as soon as possible. It's a definite 'now or never' for you. Even though 'fortune favors the brave' you have always been a believer in the saying 'risk comes from not knowing what you are doing' and you know very well about your plan, the probables, in short everything you need to know. In the end, you still have to take a decision, and quickly. Your penultimate step, the key to your uprise or the reason for your downfall.

You are also aware of the fact that your mind has always been your biggest asset. Your only asset, to be precise. All your life, people have underestimated you, your strength and your abilities. No matter how hard you tried, no one ever took you seriously because most of the people forget or perhaps choose to ignore the fact that power, it comes in all sizes and types. But you know better. You yourself know that you aren't the strongest guy around. But you are definitely the smartest guy around, at least you like to think so. You are a recluse and are proud of that fact because it gives you so much more time to prepare yourself better. It helps you stand out from the rest of the crowd. This has so far been your biggest challenge and the stakes are quite high. An error from your side could quickly escalate to you being caught. This time, you've chosen to fight a guy who is as capable as you, as smart as you. No, you think, a bit smarter than you. But you love challenges and this ain't any different. So you have to take your decision as quickly as you can because your headstart, it won't keep you safe for long.
