Summary: Mj is in an accident and closes herself off. Peter and Ned have to get their friend back.

Mj had been in an accident that left her with a few scars. Most of them were on her face and people made fun of her for it.

Peter and Ned tried to help her but she just closed herself off. She spoke less, she sat further from them during lunch and hardly spent time with them anymore.

Her only two friends were worried about her. But after a while of thinking about it they decided to join the schools annual talent show.

They practiced for their performance every day until the talent show. They made sure she attended.

"Next is Peter Parker and Ned Leeds," the principle said before leaving the stage.

The students weren't as enthusiastic about the duo as the were about everyone else. They didn't let this get them down though.

They walked onto the stage with their heads held high. Peter went to the keyboard that had been set up in the middle of the stage and Ned went to the other microphone with his guitar.

Peter leaned closer to his microphone and cleared his throat.

"We would like to dedicate this song to our best friend, Mj," Peter said.

Mj looked up from the book she had been reading. Her scared face held pure confusion. Peter smiled before he started playing the keyboard.

When they were done with the song everyone got to their feet and clapped. Peter saw Mj's tear eyes before she was hidden by the applauding crowd.

They went to the back of the stage and only a few minutes later Mj rushed in and gave them both a hug.

"Thanks guys," she said pulling away.

"No problem Mj. You're our friend, we would never just let you close yourself off," Peter replied with a shrug.

"Yeah. And at least now we know you have feelings and are not just some emotionless void," Ned jokked.

He received a punch to the arm.
