The next day was a free day. It had taken a while for Marinette to persuade Chloe that Lila wasn't all a bad egg. 14 minutes and 23 seconds, to be exact. When that conversation was over, the two went to Lila's hotel room. The brunette was in a room alone. They knocked, awaiting for an answer. And a few moment later the door opened.
'Marinette! Chloe! What are you two doing here?' Lila asked.
'Marinette wanted to go to the coffee shop nearby. She insisted that we come here and invite you.' Chloe answered. Lila blinked, looking between the two, before smiling and nodding her approval. Ten minutes later, they were sipping coffee's in starbucks. It was silent at first, but eventually conversation started and they were chatting like long lost best friends. All was fine, until Lila said,
'Sorry about lying about your soulmate by the way Marinette.' That made Marinette start choking. Chloe glared at Lila until the bluenette finished her coughing fit.
'Sorry about that. It's err... okay, I guess. I don't take it to heart. There was no hard feelings there. In fact, you saved me from an unwanted conversation yesterday.' The ravenette said.
'What was the conversation about, if I might ask?' Lila asked. But that question was never answered. because in walked Tim Drake.
You don't go to a coffee shop in Gotham without seeing Tim Drake. Lol.
