mine // Mattheo riddle

Celeste's POV

          it had been a week since Lorenzo and I started dating. we hand't told anyone, and frankly it was fun being secretive. Blaise and onyx hadn't admitted it, but it was insanely obvious they were dating and in love with each other .

          things were good with Enzo so far. we would go on dates in the flower fields and sneak down to the black lake or the astronomy tower. he was always there for me, and me for him.

Two weeks later

          Lorenzo and I decided it would be good to announce our relationship to everyone.

"guys, we have something to tell you" I told the group (Blaise, onyx, pansy, Draco, and Mattheo)

"what's wrong?" onyx asked

Lorenzo looked at me "we're dating!" he cheered

everyone just looked at each other and started taking out money

"what the hell- did you place bets on us?" I stared at them

"yeah and I won" Blaise smirked

          we all laughed. they were all surprisingly fine with us dating, and if I'm being honest, we all placed bets on draco and pansy, even though they're so stubborn. we didn't even bother placing any on mattheo since well... he's a riddle after all. someone would have to be equally, if not more insane than him. and if they were, they'd probably kill each other in the first 48 hours.

3 weeks later

          I woke up early this morning. I decided to sneak into the dungeons to surprise Lorenzo. Also, recently Mattheo has been seeing pansy. I'm surprised, but also not at the same time.

          I quietly jogged to the Slytherin common room, smiling. I said the password and entered. as I walked in, I heard a sound that was exactly like people making out. I creeped behind a pillar and poked my head out. what. the. hell. there I see pansy straddling Lorenzo, and them making out. it also didnt look like she forced him because he was clearly kissing her back.

          I cleared my throat and crossed my arms, trying not to cry. they both immediately stop and look up. Lorenzo pushed pansy off him and stands up.

"celeste- it's not what it looks like-" he tried to lie

I scoffed "you never were a good liar Lorenzo." I slapped him and ran out of the common room.

          I ran out, letting the tears fall from my eyes. as I exited the dungeons I bumped into someone, causing me to stumble backwards onto the floor.

"watch it, bitch" mattheo looked down on me

"save it you ass." I got up and pushed passed him

he grabbed m wrist and turned me "tears. how pathetic and weak" he wiped them away from my face

          I slapped his hand away and stormed off. god what was his problem? I was just cheated on and he had to worsen it, not that he knew- BUT STILL!!!

          I entered the Hufflepuff common room and headed to my dorm. my eyes were burning from the tears so I just went to bed without engaging in conversation with anyone. I drifted off pretty quickly, still crying.

          my eyes were burning even more since I had woken up. I didn't want to leave my dorm today. I couldn't face Lorenzo. I thought he was different. guess all guys are the same, and mattheo's not helping my case.

          I slowly started getting ready, not giving a damn if I was late. I wasn't even hungry. everyone had already left to go eat in the great hall and I was still in my dorm trying to maintain a positive attitude. I pulled out some crystals and incense. I did a quick happiness spell and plastered on a smile. I didn't want anyone- especially Lorenzo to think i'm weak.

          when I finally entered the great hall everyone had pretty much left, except for mattheo who was reading something. i ignored him and began to leave the great hall. i swiftly walked past him trying to be quiet.

"skipping meals are we?" he said, still looking at his book

i stopped "no. i just have to get to class." i rolled my eyes

          he hummed in response. i remembered that Mattheo and I have potions together. i walked out of the hall and down to potions. when i entered i sat in the back trying not to ause attention to me. Lorenzo, draco, and onyx were already in. 

"Ms. Diggory, never be late to my class again. 20 points from Hufflepuff, and a detention." snape said as he turned the page in his book. 

          lorenzo turned his head back to me and mouthed "im so sorry". i scoffed and opened my book. I was having a good time alone until someone sat down next to me. i looked up and guess who it was? mattheo. Snape scoffed and gave him a detention as well. Perfect, detention with riddle. 

          all of a sudden lorenzo speaks up "mother fucker!" everyone shot their heads to him and snape glared at him. if looks could kill, lorenzo would be far gone. 

"mr. berkshire! detention!" he snapped at him

          lorenzo turned his head and winked at me. is he serious. even more perfect; detention with a riddle descendant and my ex boyfriend. this is just going to be so fun!
