Clark Confesses

Clark
I have to let Christian know that I am his paternal grandfather and why his dad wasn't there for him and his mother. He had been killed in a robbery after buying an engagement ring for Ella. I had no idea because his name and he fought about him marrying Ella. He left and never made it back home and we had no idea where Ella was to tell her. She never contacted us that I know of, but Stephanie never liked Ella and blamed her for his death. We moved because there were too many memories in the house. We moved to the east coast. William was very much in love with Ella and he and his mom fought tooth and nail over him marrying her. I tried to quell the fights and make his mother see what she was doing to him and she was going to lose him. I had no idea that we would all lose him the night he stormed out of the house. I think Christian deserves to know that.

Clark Robinson called and wanted to speak to me privately, he wouldn't say why. I told him I want Ana there and he said it would be okay.
An hour later I find out who my real father was and who Clark is to me. My paternal grandfather and he explained everything to me and he said if he had known where to find Ella he would have found her, but his investigations came up empty. It was like she disappeared off the face of the earth. I sit in shock, but as I look at him he is an older version of me. He pulls out a photo of his son William and all three of us look alike. I wonder if  my child will look like us as well.

Wow I thought he was you from a distance. Amazing. I tell him he can bring Aubrey to visit any time. I am sure she is traumatized from everything. And finding out she has more siblings. Mom definitely got around. No shocker there though dad does too. She can contact me, I don't blame her and she took really good care of me. Anyone that would kill and want to kill their own family wouldn't hesitate to kill Aubrey as well. I believe she would have so there would have been no witnesses left. I am sure Aubrey had realized that. Giselle stopped feeding me and Aubrey as well. Anyway we are having your great grandchild. If you hadn't heard already. I know you have your sources.

I do indeed have my sources, Grace let me know and figured out who I really am. When she saw me at the funeral she pretty much had my number. I should have stopped Stephanie from everything she did to William and Ella. Stephanie never got over Williams death. She took her life on the anniversary of his death. I finally found out Ella had died, but never knew about you until I saw you in the financial pages. There was no doubt you were my grandson. I should have came forward a long time ago, but I felt it wasn't the time yet. But when I saw that Ana was missing I knew who was involved and had to come out to help. Between me, Ray and the guards black op friends we got your location and paid off the mercenaries and money talks when you double it. I had someone call Christian to get the helicopter and a medic there to get you out the cops were arresting Aubrey and Giselle. Aubrey would have never been sent to jail, I have friends who know Giselle. Well some are friends and others I have to deal with occasionally. Her last ex was one of them. Had he known she had property he would've stayed married to her and took it all. Her children deserved all of what she left not him. So I made sure he got that divorce and quickly. I know that Ana didn't want anything from her mothers estate. The house in Montesano is a nice place now that Elliott is working on it. I hear you and the rest of her children are donating it. I find it amusing that it goes against everything she stood for. I love that. I met her at an event and she made a play for me and I shot her down quickly. No one can replace my Rachael. My love still burns bright in my heart as the day we fell in love. I hope you both are that much in love as well. If not now then may it grow deeper every moment. If you ever need my assistance and I can be of help please make sure you reach out to me. I also would love to be here for my great grandchild if that is okay with you both.

I think that would be nice. And if you or Aubrey ever need anything let us know. If she ever wants to come for a visit or even you both feel free to. I am amazed at how I look like both you and my father.
Clark
Right now Aubrey is in therapy that was court ordered and her probation is going well. I have another appointment and have a flight to catch n the morning Fenton is picking me up in five minutes.
Carrick
I answer the door and see Clark and Fenton standing and have them come inside. Clark asked to speak to me about his will. We head into my study and he pulls out his will from the briefcase I hadn't noticed him holding.
Clark
I have spoken to Christian and he knows I am his grandfather. We can prove it by DNA if necessary, but I am here to change my will and I think you would be the best for it. I want to leave Christian, my grandchildren and Aubrey the bulk of my estate. Twenty percent will go to charity out of my cash assets. Properties will be divided up as per my wishes. I have a list of all of them. I would love if you allow me to join in family events including my great grandchild.

Of course you are welcome to join in any family events and bring Aubrey with you. No matter how we found more family, family is always welcome unless you are like Giselle.
Clark
Let's hope not. Aubrey is scared she might become like her and we decided she should see someone to help her through all of this.
Carrick
That's good to know. I will definitely be able to draw up a new will for you. Would you like to stay for dinner?
Clark
I have to make a flight tonight appointments await me in the morning. But thank you for allowing me into your family.
Carrick
I will get this drawn up and have it couriered to you at the address on the car right? You are welcome and have a good flight.
Clark
Yes that's the address I need it sent to. Thanks again.

I watch as he leaves and I head back to my office to write up the will.
