𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲. <𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗰>

We were halfway to the hotel when suddenly an old man stops us. He looks homeless, i feel bad.
"Hey pretty ladies" he says, he's very old so his voice is raspy. We smile at him but clearly we're uncomfortable.
Nathan puts his arms around me and vivien, making us seem like a teenage family. Lyon puts his arm around Akira making them seem like siblings since they kinda look alike and he takes Missy's hand making them seem like a couple.
"Ohhh is that your child? Lemme see lemme see" The old man reaches for vivien and i pull her away, she's asleep so she doesn't know what's happening. This child sleeps a lot. Nathan protectively stands in front of us and Lyon does the same as the old man looks at Akira and YaYa. Us girls stand together behind the boys and YaYa texts our mom.
"Move." The old man says to Nathan and Lyon, trying to pry in between them.
"No, Go away." Nathan says, pushing the guy away. We were only 14 so the boys weren't that scary or intimidating, considering they sounded like squeaky toys.
"Let me see them-" Th me guy got cut off by lyon and nathan punching him at the same time. They quickly pull us around the man who's now on the floor and they stand behind us as we walk.
Vivien slowly wakes up and her face is met with Nathan's face, who has dirt on his cheek from the old guy hitting him in the face while he fell i feel vivien laugh and turn around to look at nathan. Once i see what she's laughing at i laugh as well. I lick my thumb and wipe the dirt away. I hear a click and see a flash only to realize that YaYa took a photo. I laugh in response. We continue walking till we reach the hotel. I had an uneasy feeling. like i was being watched. We walk into the lobby and to my surprise my mother gulfs all the girls into a hug. Vivien jumped out of my arms and ran to her mom who was behind my mom and akira ran to her parents which were next to Vivi's mom.
Nathan and Lyon awkwardly stood there, their hands behind their back My mom let's go of me and YaYa and looks at Nathan and Lyon.
"Is that Nathan Blair?" My mom asked, a hint of happiness in her tone. ever since the incident happened she's been asking "Wheres nathan?" "Have you spoke to nathan?" I didn't want to tell her about the incident. I don't fully forgive him but he helped my friends and sister and i from getting kidnapped so i guess we're cool.
"Hey Mrs. Gosselin" He said, hugging my mom back since she hugged him.
"Where have you been? it's been forever!" I gave nathan a 'Please don't say anything' look and he understood quickly.
"Oh you know, school, acting, all that" he laughs nervously.
"Who's your friend here?" My mom said pulling away from the hug and looking at Lyon.
"This is Lyon, he's one of my best friends." Nathan said introducing Lyon. Akira and vivien were back at our side, Vivien holding my hand and Akita's hand.
"Nice to meet you" Lyon said. He held his hand out for a handshake but my mom being herself hugged him. I'm guessing YaYa told her how they saved us.
"Thank you boys for saving my girls and their friends" She starts crying and he hugs her back.
"It was no problem, really" while they were talking i had an eerie feeling. I'm guessing Akira had it too cause she looked around, unsure of something.
"Well you kids go up to your rooms and i'll see you in the morning at 10. We're all gonna eat breakfast than go explore. Boys feel free to come" My mom said, handing all of us keycards including the boys. "Goodnight mom" me Akira and YaYa said at the same time. Akira called her mom since we always friends for so long.
"Goodnight Mrs Gosselin" all the other kids say.
we all get in the glass elevator when i look down into the lobby and see the old man staring directly at us. We both lock eyes and a grin forms on his face.
"Shoot.." i say quietly. Nathan must've noticed me staring at something cause he came behind me and looked down. I'm guessing he saw the man cause he turned me around quickly and made sure nobody looked at him. Before we got off i looked back and he was gone. That was when the panic set in.

Me and nathan rush everyone to our room when i hear the elevator door open. I quickly slide my keycard and we open the door. Our stuff is already in there so we quickly get everyone in and i'm last. I hear footsteps running towards our room so i quickly run and and slam the door. everyone but nathan looks at me weirdly. I look through the peephole and luckily the guy looks at the door and leaves. i make sure he gets in the elevator and i walk over to the right bed, closest to the door. With my luck, Nathan was sitting there too. i sit on the edge cause he's by the head board but i feel hands snake their way around my waist and i get pulled back. I land on someone's lap and i look up and turn red seeing it's nathan. Vivien,akira,yaya,and Lyon were too busy looking for Tv channels to see Nathan whisper into my ear quietly
"You should sit here more often."
His whisper sends SHIVERS down my spine. We're only 14 so i scoff and roll my eyes.
"Yeah i'm sure you like this."
I pry his legs open and slide down so my head is on his stomach and my hands are on his legs. Once the group finds a channel we turn it on. It was some disney movie i wasn't really paying attention.

i was drifting off to sleep in nathan's arms when we heard a bang.
something like..like...
like a...
gunshot.
i jump to my feet and my immediate reaction was
lock the door
i locked the door, put something over the peephole, closes the curtains and grabbed Vivien.
"Get in the bathroom everyone now." i whisper loud enough for everyone in the room to hear us. They all rush into the bathroom and i turn the Tv and lights off. i get in the bathroom last, Lyon is sitting by the light switch. I close and lock the door and get into the bathroom with the other girls, vivi by my side hiding behind me slightly. Lyon and Nathan sit against the door, as we here footsteps coming towards our room. we're all shaking. someone breaks down the door and i scream. he shoot everyone but me. he looks me dead in the eye and it's the old man. he shoots me and i scream over and over.

"Faith,"
"Faith!"
"FAITH WAKE UP!!"
I jolted awake and saw everyone surrounding me, I was still in nathan's arms. I was drenched in sweat.
"Oh my gosh. what time is it?" i ask Akira who's next to me holding my hand.
"it's 9 am." Lyon answered for her.
"We gotta go get breakfast so hurry up and cmon" YaYa said, she had Vivien on her back.
"I'll be down in a bit, you can go downstairs and explore but please be safe" I said, looking at them with a 'you better listen to me' look.
they nodded and left, i forgot i was laying on nathan but by the time i realized they all left.
"sorry, but can you stay with me? i'm scared of being alone" i look up at nathan and he looks down at me. He's really tall.
"Of course, sweetheart" he says in a mocking tone.
i give him the are you serious look and he just starts dying of laughter
"of course i'll stay." He unwraps his arms from around my torso and i get up.
i go to my suitcase and open it realizing i packed a bunch of tank tops and from what happened yesterday i wasn't really comfortable wearing those. especially since it wasn't so warm.
"Hey uhm do you have a shirt i could borrow by any chance?" i asked nathan quietly. my face was heated so i could tell i was red. He smirked s out his phone down, crossing his arms.
"Yeah, in my suitcase. Take whatever shirt you want"  he smiles cheekily at me. i can tell this is gonna go somewhere other than friendship and i'm totally okay with that.
